Not me finally reading this after buying the paperback when it was released but also owning a copy of the special edition BUT YES I finally read it.
I read this pratically in one sitting, it was that good. It's fated mates and star crossed lovers (to a degree) too but also paranormal and fantasy. I loved it!
Damien has been through the ringer and he is so nice and thoughtful. I just love the guy.
Cassie is an interesting character. She was diagnosed with a disease and that has been not great for her which also means she wants to enjoy life but she can't. Until she meets Damien.
There is just something about him that pulls her in and she feels safe, happy but sometimes sad too. 🤐
Some weird stuff happens too which left me with question after question which led to me to not stop reading until I have some answers because yes, this book didn't answer all my questions hence why I look forward to read To Ashes And Dust next. I love when I like a book so much and the next is already out ( i have it on my shelf already and yes, you guessed correctly. I also bought that one when it was released. ) so I don't have to wait to know what happens next. 🙃
I loved their romance and I can't wait for more. I also like the other guys too and I'm excited for them.
Cole deserves a redemption arc and that's my stance. I hated him when he was where he wasn't supposed to however there's more to it than what we know (I'm like 99% sure of it) and I feel like he needs redemption and I hope Miss Luna gives him that. 😉

This book started somewhat slow in some aspects but it was just picking up the pace for the rollercoaster of emotions that was to come. Lots of revelations happened but new questions appeared and i honestly can't wait to read the next and find out if I'm right or not.
Cass finally is who she is supposed to be but i wonder how much she gonna change this world and the lives of her people.
Damien (and me 😅) was put through a lot. I mean every character was to be honest and it was hard at times seeing what Cass was going through and also Damien. Damien was tortured so much already and the cruel fates wanted to F him again but he said enough was enough and he did something about it. The deal he made was very ominous... It felt like Eris asked for his first born and it felt a bit icky. I look to see what she will ask in return and how that plays into moving forward.
I loved these two so much still and I just wanna see them rule the world as King & Queen.
Cass secret was the frustrating but I also understand why she kept it a secret and it isn't like Damien can judge her for it so I'll leave it at that.
I can't get into much detail but Barrett... My sweet sweet Barrett. Luna managed to make me cry so yay for her 👀 but wtf... I refuse to believe that happened at all and I have a theory about it.
With that say everything is up in the air, people are still recuperating and I can't wait to read the next book.

This had an interesting beginning. A woman divorcing her abusive husband who her BFF is a lawyer but also magical so she tells Eloise she needs to summon an advocate and he will eradicate her problem so they strike a bargain and to cement this bargain, Damien has to drink her blood and his life never was the same afterwards.
I loved Eloise. She was beat down emotionally by her soon to be ex husband and she had her journey to go through where she needed to find herself again and she did it with Damien’s help although he just showed her what he saw when he looked at her but that was the push she needed to face her problems but also stand up for herself.
Damien was sort of a mystery being but soonish we learned what he was and his powers entailed. I loved him. He was the right amount of violent, possessive and protective. They were exactly what each other needed in order to do what needed/ needs to be done but also be what they are supposed to be.
I loved what we learned about Eloise and what’s awaiting us in the next book. I can’t wait to read that one.

What can you expect when one summons a warrior demon with nail polish? Absolute sweetness with a dash of vanquishing of enemies and that is what this story is besides mending brother relationships and healing as well.
I loved that this series is about characters we've heard of before. It is Alexei brothers turns to have their stories told and this one is about his younger brother Sascha.
Sascha is a soft and pure soul but was born in the bratva and even thought he never was really involved and was away for most of his childhood, there were just some things he couldn't escape and ultimately that left him and his brothers with some scars.
I loved that Sascha is the type that is able to love someone even when said someone did horrible stuff. It shows that Sascha knows the nuance there is between someone deserving of love and others that don't. Ivan, his older brother, is a bit of an a__ at the moment but I see bits and pieces and what a complex character he seems to me and I want to read his story asap. It's gonna be so good! 😌
I loved the last conversation they had towards the end of the book which tells me a lot without them having to say it. I love that even though these 3 brothers are inarticulate when it comes to emotions, Sascha was the first to break through and say it. I loved that and I'm eager to see the moment Ivan really appreciates the brother/s he has.
Sascha & Kai were yummy together. They are such a sweet couple with a dash of possessiveness. Kai has been living in The Void and he intends to have one last contract in order to return to the Demon world once again but then he makes a pact with Sascha and his plan go out the window.
I loved Kai. He recognized Sascha hurt and just wanted to make him happy. He was a demon bound by his sweet sweet mate and I loved every moment of it.
Sascha flourish under Kai's watch and it was beautiful to see it happen.
Loved these two.
I loved the briefly return of Alexei & Jay and I very much hope we see them again in Ivan's story.
We met Nix and I can't wait to know what's going on over there.
We also have a new addition named Matteo and he was given the go ahead to summon a demon if he wishes and I'm so excited about it. I just loved when we pick "strays" up and bring them home and just dote on them. It reminds me of Jay and I'm here for it. 🤗
I honestly can't wait for the next book in this series in case it wasn't obvious before. 😅

Oh My! This book is quick, sweet, emotional at times but most of all it's so wholesome.
I loved Cherry & Dom together. I loved the way they supported each other but also that they saw a bit of themselves in the other. They understood each other's struggles and were there for each other every step of the way.
Some might think, like Cherry did, that they moved too fast but honestly like Dom said, they are getting older and they know exactly what they want out of life and who they want so why wait and waste time? Dom was determined and in the end he got exactly what he wanted as did Cherry. I loved them and their found family. I loved seeing the other characters for the last time.
Halton helping Dom get his son was everything! It brought tears to my eyes and I was NOT expecting that to happen. I just loved the will to fight Dom had in him and his love for his son. It was very touching.
I loved seeing him grow his relationship with Josh. Just writing about it brings me tears of joy 🥹
Dom was such a great character ( Cherry too ). Despite everything Josh's mother did to him, he still was kind to her as well as the others in the Reynolds Restoration family.
Like I said, this whole book was wholesome and I hope you give it a go.
Btw I listened to the audiobook and Maxine Mitchell & John Lane did a fantastic job! It was a great experience and made the book even better.
I'm very excited for Melanie's next release!

I still love Havoc & Miles and their misfit group of friends although some stuff was a bit repetitive which can be on me because I read the previous books recently so I still remembered stuff.
With that said, these people are ridiculous and they never fail to make me laugh sometimes. They are ridiculous but cute and endearing at the same time especially Menace. He is a dragon but he behaves like a cat through and through. He resembles my cat sometimes which is kinda scary 😅
We had two new additions to the family and I loved them. Winter was another victim of Geoff who suffered for so long but finally has a group of people who might seem like a bunch of weirdos but they go to war for him too so he had no choice but to stick with them.
Lorelei is another demon who was freed and is now in the care of Evan. I hope she flourish under his care and that we see her again.
This book a fun time and I look forward to read another Alice winters book.

I got this one when it was free and the blurb seemed like fun. I was not wrong!
I like the fact that this was between an FBI agent and an art thief. It was a cat and mouse type game for awhile until Falcon needed King's help in finding a very precious artifact that was stolen which may or may not cause war if fallen in the wrong hands.
I loved the group of agents Falcon had on his team and I liked how King fit in.
I liked the mission and how the story was paced. I obviously loved Falcon & King together especially with how grumpy Falcon was at first.
I'm interested in King's family so I will go back and read them at some point.

When I saw the tropes, the only one that worried me was surprise baby. I'm picky when it comes to it because I just want it to be more than a misunderstanding or ghosting for no good reason but I still gave this a go because it's Cala Riley and I trust them. Let me just say they didn't disappoint me in any way especially regarding this trope.
Olivia & Mason had a special one night stand where they just wanted to explore their connection and they only knew their first names. When Olivia discovered that she was pregnant , she tried to find her baby daddy except she only knew he was Mason so she went to the hotel they were at that night and tried to figure out who he was except things didn't panned out as she hoped and that wasn't because Mason refused to take responsibility or because he didn't want the baby. I'll let you figure out the rest but I just wanted to put this here so that you can see what I mean when I say this trope has to be written in a way I will like.
I loved Mason. He was always stuck on Olivia and the way she rocked his world but he never managed to find her and he tried so when he walks into one of his hotel's and find Olivia at the reception desk, he couldn't believe his eyes and his luck too except she didn't want anything to do with him but Mason wanted her because he knows she is the one for him so he tried to figure out why she was acting the way she was. Suffice to say, when he sees why she is like that, he is upset but also amazed because he has a beautiful little girl with the woman that got away.
I swooned the whole damn book from that point forward. Mason did everything including sleeping on the cold floor and not his amazing bed because he wanted to be present for his little girl but also Olivia. I loved how in no moment did he waiver and thought he never wanted to be a dad or have the responsibility. He was all in the moment he learned he had a daughter so his plan now was to convince the mother of his baby that the right thing was for them to be a family because he loved them and not because it would look better for society. He was such a great father and I was a sucker for him. 🤭
Olivia went through a lot being a single mom but she had her BFF, Cloe, to help her every step of the way. She didn't want anything to do with Mason but she still felt towards him the same connection they had that one night so she had to decide what to do about her new situation. I liked that Olivia pushed against Mason but she also gave in when needed. I think the authors did a great job in balancing Olivia's character.
There was a point when Mason was fed up with Olivia distrusting him and his motivations and she realized what she was doing and she apologize and to me that was a great scene showing what I mentioned above.
I loved the friendship between Olivia & Cloe. They are friendship goals.
Mason's group, Max (his brother), Bradley & Eli, was everything. I loved them whenever they were on page but especially when they fell in love with Mason's daughter the moment they saw her and they even had dates with the little girl.
One of the best moments in the story was when Mason took his daughter on a Daddy date so she could learn how men should treat her in the future. It was so damn cute! 🥹
I loved everyone in this story and I honestly can't wait for the next story in this series!

This was a delightful read even when there were some time jumps ( every few months) in the beginning. Why did I like the time jumps? Because it started with meaningful stuff and not things that a character was doing that was irrelevant to the story if that makes sense. It also led us to where the romance needed to be in order to commence in a way because otherwise this story would've been another one entirely if they got involved when they met, either because of their circumstances at the times or because of where each character was at that point in their lives. It wouldn't have been as good as it is. I'm also impressed by this author since it's her debut book and I'm very excited for her next release.
Alex, Lord Westmore, is a business man first and foremost which is frowned upon by the ton. He doesn't care what others in society think about him, which I loved, and his focus is on building his empire and making it even more profitable than it is. Until he almost crashes against Lady Phoebe. I actually loved their first encounter and Phoebe definitely left an impression on Alex and because he isn't easily impressed especially by women, he just had to figure out why this Lady had such an impact on his mind.
I liked that he didn't shy away from the feelings Phoebe evoked in him as they were learning more and more about each other and later when they started their little deal.
I loved that once he "tasted" her, he knew there was no going back to a life where she wasn't in it and he went all in even when he never even pondered marriage. One thing you must know about Alex is that once he wants something or someone, he does everything in his power to get it. No matter what it takes or what society might think.
Phoebe is an orphan and her aunt took her in when she was very little but because of her mother's marriage, her reputation was sullied and she would never have a husband and was destined to be a wallflower. She knew that and was okay with that because she never wanted a place in society and she just wanted to make money on what she loved to do the most and be able to have a home of her own. Until she meets Lord Westmore at a party.
I loved her! She was ambitious, direct, smart and kind.
I do think she gave a bit too much of herself to her cousin without thinking of herself. I didn't like parts where Catherine, her cousin, seemed like she took and took from her and never really acknowledged what Phoebe wanted. It was always what she wanted and Phoebe just went along with it. Phoebe was also very selfless to her detriment sometimes so I don't put all the blame on the cousin.
I loved the new friends she made along the way and I'm excited for their stories.
I liked how they finally had their hea although the fact that it took so long for Phoebe to come to terms with the fact that she didn't mind being a Countess if she could have Alex as a husband was a bit frustrating to me. However I believe she meant to go to him before she received the package and I liked that she was the one that her feelings on the table so to speak and I liked even more that Alex didn't give anything away until she did. That whole interaction was as it was supposed to be.
I loved them and I can't wait to hopefully see them in future books.

This was such a beautiful story. I loved the romance and the family Caledonia & Thor created together.
Thor has a wonderful family so I love seeing them be so accepting of Callie especially Thor's sister Nicola.
Thor was such a great man too. He may be a Knight for the King but he is very compassionate and respects women and treats them with care because that's what his parents taught him.
He was everything and more that Callie needed and I just love following their story and see their hea come to fruition.
Callie was a lost soul once her children were taken away by her then husband. She was going through the motions and just trying to forget the sorrow she lived every single day since that happened.
I loved her so much. She was distrustful at first but once she saw Thor was worth it, she went for it.
I loved seeing both Callie & Thor gain the trust of her children but especially Thor when it came to Jane. It was just beautiful seeing it unfold. They formed a big and beautiful family and I can't help but feel proud of them like Thor's father is.
I didn't care much for the "villain" pov. I could've done without it so I skimmed those parts and that's basically why it's not a full 5 star book for me. i truly loved the romance and everything else.
* I read an arc of this book. *
" They've kept your light dimmed, your beauty hidden behind those peasant clothes you wear, but that is going to stop now. You deserve to wear the finest clothing. You deserve to be respected, and I swear to you I will do just that. You needn't fear that people will ridicule you because that will not happen. "
" You are simply making your own mark, creating your own dynasty. Some say that the measure of a man is upon the field of battle, or in the political arena. But I've come to think that the true measure of a man is how much he is loved by his family and friends. You took a broken woman and her equally broken children and created something fine and whole. "

This was such a beautiful story. I loved the romance and the family Caledonia & Thor created together.

Elsbeth is an avid student and one of her interests and studies are all sorts of rocks so she goes to Spain to explore the caves that have some interesting rocks and such but before she goes on this journey, she assures her other classmates and friends that she will marry once she comes back and secure their place at the school.
I must say I was quite bored with the rocks and all of that so I skimmed parts of the story mostly in the beginning but once we get introduced to Teddy things become more interesting.
Teddy has once asked Elsbeth hand in marriage but she refused him and broke his heart hence why he had been traveling abroad. I liked who Teddy became after he discovered he was a father and how much that changed his views.
I quite liked Elsbeth & Teddy together however that did not last long because there was a misunderstanding and rightfully so Teddy reacted accordingly imo. That could've very much been avoided and I don't get why Elsbeth didn't tell Teddy what was going on especially after they got involved. On top of that, the fact that she didn't intend on ever telling him made me even more frustrated and totally made me compassionate towards Teddy and what he was feeling. I liked what she did to get him back but again all of it could've been avoided.
