some of the most fascinating writing i've read in a while. mishima is someone i've had a fascination with for a while, and i'm glad i finally had a chance to experience some of his work. it's a tough thing to grapple with his politics and his death, but i think it makes the exercise of reading him more valuable? idk. i've just never really struggled to get my head around someone's philosophy like this, and it's a pretty enriching experience.
