Fallon, a magicless halfling with an affinity for animals, finds herself on an impossible quest after an oracle predicts a regal future.
I'll be honest, for the majority of this book I wanted to strangle Fallon.
She's hopelessly in love with Dante, who I hate btw, and is so blinded by her feelings for this man who is 10000% using her, and goes off on this quest thinking she'll be his queen once she frees these crows and puts him on the throne.
Thankfully along the way the wool gets snatched off her eyes and she sees what a POS Dante is, but I foresee her still being a naรฏve little walnut (I hope I'm wrong though). There's still so much we (and Fallon) don't know about what's going on, but despite being irritated with Fallon, I really enjoyed this and cannot wait to dive into the rest of the series!

As a lover of the Peach State Stepbros series, I was beyond excited to dive into this spin off!
I'm a sucker for frat boys and was so happy that Lance got his own book! This was such a fun rivals to lovers romance, full of frat shenanigans, and plenty of steam. However, the pacing was a bit off, but overall I enjoyed this.

If you're looking for a sweet and swoony romance that does not hold back on the steam, then look no further!
Boone was seriously sunshine incarnate, and he balanced out the closed off grump that was Wylie. Their friendship turned romance was just so tooth achingly sweet, but when things heat up... Oof ๐ฎโ๐จ๐ฅต
I will say this did feel a bit insta-love, which I'm not usually too big of a fan of, but it really worked here.
I loved every minute of this adorable, low angst, high on the feels cowboy romance, and cannot wait for more of this series!

Isaac has hated golden boy Colton after what went down between them in high school. When the opportunity arises for Isaac to finally get his revenge, he has no qualms about blackmailing Colton. Only Isaac isn't expecting Colton to offer up his body for him to exact his revenge, but he plans on making Colton regret that decision.
I'll be honest, as someone who doesn't have a lot of triggers, Isaac and Colton's first 'encounter' had me questioning whether I wanted to continue reading the bookโobviously, I did, and I'm glad, but that scene made me feel icky so bravo to MN for that ๐
I feel like a lot of bully romances romanticize the mistreatment of its characters, and really loved that that didn't happen here. Isaac's bullying at Colton's hands in high school wasn't swept under the rug or depicted with rose colored glasses, and I loved that Colton was genuinely apologetic for what happened, and that he understood that he couldn't rush Isaac's feelings and forgiveness of the situation.
Overall, a really great read!
