Heartless Hunter moved at snails pace for the majority of the book, and while it was good I wasnβt particularly blown away.
Then the last 10% had to go and hook me and now I feel like I *have* to read Rebel Witch and see how this ends.

Wrangled and Tangled took me for a ride, but Iβm not sure it was altogether a good one???
Going in I didnβt realize there was going to be a murder plot lineβwhich isnβt my favorite thing to begin with, but here it was underdeveloped and poorly executed. Iβm talking zero build up and literally no suspense whatsoever.
So much potential with so little pay off, and definitely not enough to hook me into reading Unserious (which apparently is gonna tell us what really happened).
Also what was the point of the fake engagement plot? Just drama for the sake of drama? It could have been fleshed out and added more depth to the story but was completely brushed over and wrapped up in like two chapters.
I will say Heath and Spencer were cute, but their relationship went from 0 to 100. Iβm only a fan of insta-love in certain instances, and this was not it.
I think the best parts of the book honestly had nothing to do with the romance π€£ Spencer was such a great dad and I loved Heathβs relationship with Briar too.
Overall Wrangled and Tangled had a lot of potential to be great, but fell incredibly short of hitting the mark for me.

Listen, Gianni's books are usually more miss than hit for me, but I keep reading because I keep hoping I'll one day be won over. I think that time has come, because I actually really freaking loved this???
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- mafia romance
- power imbalance
- boss + intern
- age gap
- billionaire
- epilepsy rep

Holding the Reins was fine.
I can see why so many people enjoyed this, because CeCe and Nash's story is super easy to read, full of tropes everyone loves, and has a great cast of side characters. However, it's a little underwhelming, and not anything I haven't read before.
I think the most exciting thing about this were the sex scenes, which were surprisingly good since I figured they would be just as mediocre as the rest of the book.
What to expect:
- retired hockey player turned cowboy
- brother's best friend
- age gap
- small town romance
- found family
- dirty talk

Overall Take a Chance was pretty cute, but the chemistry between Mal and Crew was a bit underwhelming.
