Overall Take a Chance was pretty cute, but the chemistry between Mal and Crew was a bit underwhelming.

After being ditched by her ex-fiancรฉ due to her fertility issues, Hadley heads home to Huckleberry Hill to nurse her broken heart.

Her first night there she runs into Declan (literally) and the pair instantly hit it off. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and when the tension between her and Declan finally snaps, thereโ€™s no turning back.

Huckleberry Hill is one of the fluffiest and most adorable books Iโ€™ve ever written. Declan is definitely high up on my list of book boyfriends tooโ€”and I loved how he treated Hadley.

I will say I wasnโ€™t too keen on how insta-love this was, and couldโ€™ve done with some angst, but overall really enjoyed this!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
  • small town romance
  • cowboy biker
  • age gap
  • surprise pregnancy after infertility

Eight years ago Walker DeVille and Phoenix Harding locked eyes over a bonfire not knowing that what followed would change the trajectory of both their lives.

For Phoenix, that night was the catalyst that causes his career to go up in flames, but for Walker, that life altering night was his salvation.

Years later the pair cross paths once again, changing both of their lives for a second timeโ€”this time for the better.

Loooorrrddd this book ruined me in the best way! Walker and Phoenix are everything and their journey to happily ever after was quite the rollercoaster, but damn was it worth the ride!

 - best friend's brother
- opposites
- older (Payne is 40, Beau is 36... which is odd to say because by this logic I, too, am old lol)

In the middle of a divorce with his cheating husband, Payne is not only jobless but homeless, and currently stealing his 6 year old niece's bed. When Beau, his baby brother's best friend offers him his spare room until he can get on his feet again, Payne jumps at the opportunity to live somewhere rent free. What ensues is something neither one ever expected.

This was cute, I'm not gonna lie! Beau's weird ass is probably my favorite character written by Saxon James to date.

Cerelia aka Scythe, the last Witch of the Woods, has come to accept that she is better off alone after her sister Astria has run off with Ravyn, her human lover and sister to the bane of her existenceโ€”cursed werewolf, Talon. All she need is the forest and the creatures who inhabit it. Only Scythe cannot stop thinking about Talon, and their heated tryst a year and a half prior.

When Talon reappears with news that both of their sisters have disappeared, the pair must put aside their differences to save them before it's too late. Scythe and Talon can barely tolerate one another, but both soon learn there's a thin line between love and hate.

I absolutely fell in love with Talon and Cerelia in Melodies and Maledictions, and could not wait to dive into Of Silver and Curses and see how their story ended! The chemistry between these two was off the charts, and their banter was *chefs kiss*.
