This book is still a little bit slow for me. But I do very much enjoy the banter between Sera and Nyktos. The draken are also a lot of fun.
Not as good as the other 2 novellas by Ali Hazelwood. I enjoyed it because it was about engineers, but there rest was a bit boring and confusing.
I would give this book a 3.5 if it were possible. The start was a little rough. This book is so different than anything I've read. But this little human girl who gets adopted by a group of Neanderthals, I couldn't stop reading it. I had to know what happened to her. On to the 2nd book.
This was a delicious book. My only complaint is that it was too short. Imagine if Peter Pan came to your house on your 18th birthday...but instead of saying "Come on, let's go to Neverland." He says, "We can do this the easy way or the hard way, but you're coming to Neverland." Plus Peter Pan is a fully grown man with needs.
The third in this series was also deliciously spicy. The story is still lacking for me. But it's also short and sweet read. Would recommend for anyone looking for a spicy afternoon read.
The sequel is spicier than The Never King. It is even up their with the spiciest content that I've ever read. Which is saying something. The store fell a little short for me. But otherwise very entertaining.
This book started out a little rough for me. I'm already mentally not in a good place. So, for the main character to also not be in a good place was not helpful. Long story short.
Spoilers ahead....
“We only need to be one person. We only need to feel one existence. We don't have to do everything in order to be everything, because we are already infinite."
She kills herself and finds herself in limbo. This limbo takes the form of a library with infinite parallel lives where one or several decisions are different. She experiences all the other lives she could have had, but in the end decides to continue on with her original life. Essentially, having been inspired by all the possibilities that were presented to her.
The writing was good. However, I felt like the epiphany at the end was huge, but it took a rather long time to get there. This is not my typical read, but I could see how other people would like to read this a lot. I feel like this opened my own mind to other possibilities in my own life.

This book gets better and better as you go. I wouldn't have believed where the characters end up from where they start at the beginning. I cannot wait for the second book. The story is good. The characters are amazing. I only want more.
