The perfect end to an incredible trilogy. This novel end in a controversial way but it is unfortunately expected given the historical narrative path Kuang has been following. It shows the horror and tragedy of colonialism and war.
This book is brimming with satire and sarcasm written in the best way. It is a deeply funny and deeply sad book at the same time. The format is perfect for conveying the racist thoughts of culture. A truly great read.
A fantastic crime fiction novel. I was caught from the start in the story and tragedy. It was a good read. I did struggle with some of the conclusions drawn from the novel such as the victims of abuse will always turn into abusers.
I wasn't sure what to expect in this book. But I fell into its world and was caught. I loved reading about all the different lives she could've had. I love stories with parallel dimensions. I did think the book was a touch didactic.
I love time loop stories. A lot. So I was excited to read Lauren's new novel. However, I am not sure the story needed the time loop element. It was a really good read but the time loop felt a little forced and forgotten.

A classic for a reason. P&P is a truly funny and wild read. In this second read I really struggled with Elizabeth Bennet's dad. I didn't remember him being such a turd. As always, Darcy is a lovable dolt and Lizzie is fantastic.
this is a fantastic and fun read. It deals with grief in such an open and raw way. I really enjoyed seeing the heroes of folk tales and mythology come to life. The ending was perfect.
This was such a compelling and good read. I liked that the traditional "house wife" tasks in this book become the tools necessary to win the battle. All the husbands suck.
