Beginning "Wall of Storms" I was a little worried that it would feel like "Grace of Kings" with different characters, I could not be more happy to be so wrong. This wonderfully large book holds so much beauty inside. So many things made me giddy with joy while reading, especially the treatment of women in this novel. There are many depictions of different women, and none is treated as lesser. The common trope of "strong women mocking 'weak' women" is no where to be seen. "Wall of Storms" easily bests the incredible first novel "Grace of Kings". I am beyond excited for the next saga in The Dandelion Dynasty.

Given the content, it feels odd to say that this is my favorite book but I loved it. It was a beautifully written story about the tragic lives of a group. It did feel a little insular to rich people.

I really loved this book. It took me a little bit to sink into the novel, but when I did I was fully engrossed. The characters felt real and the writing was gorgeous. I truly did not expect the book to end so brutally.
