A Pack for Winter by Eliana Lee

I liked this one. This was the first I have read from Eliana Lee and will def be checking out their other books however I did like A Pack for Autumn a bit more. I did love how the pack came together was not already established, different than what we normally see in a good way.
Miss Sin by S.J. Tilly

I thought this one was going to be my favorite and then the ending fell kind of flat for me. I wish Nora made John work harder for forgiveness. This is not my favorite SJ Tilly series but it was a decent time with the audiobooks.

Cara Bastone is an ARTIST, this was written so beautifully I am worried I am not going to do this book justice with my review so prepare for some rambling.
The best kinds of books in my opinion are the ones that make you feel every single emotion in it's pages. With this book I laughed, I cried, I swooned and my heart broke at times for both Lenny and Miles. Lenny was such an in-depth character. Grief journeys that I have read previously tend to showcase grief in its "after" effects, years later when it hurts but it's livable. Cara really showcases the raw, intensity of losing the best person in your life, your platonic soulmate. Miles being there for her really showcased his soft, tender heart and I could not handle it. The way that they helped to heal each other, learn from each other and support each other was truly like nothing else I have ever read.
I felt a kinship to Lenny in that I too feel like one of the greatest loves of my life is my best friend and the thought of losing her is like losing a limb. The strength she had in continuing on when it was the absolute last thing she wanted to do was so brave. She moved into the list of my favorite fmcs so fast.
I want to keep this as spoiler-free as possible while rambling about how much I loved this book but know that everything Miles did for Lenny had me melting. She says at one point that he brought her out of hell and there is nothing like the man who is completely committed, and he was always going to be there for Lenny. Getting to see these two fall slowly into a friends to lovers love was amazing and I would already give anything to get to read this again for the first time.
I will leave my ramblings here just know this is easily a top contender for my favorite book of the year. I adored every second of the pain but it was worth it in the end to see the raw, beautiful love. Cara Bastone please NEVER stop writing.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an early ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

not the best thing i've ever read but it wasn't the worst either. really enjoyed getting to see the relationship between Sasha and Annie develop.
Savvy Sheldon Feels Good as Hell by Taj McCoy

I wish Savvy talked about herself a lot differently. It was hard for me to look past that sadly. But the moments where she was feeling confident and moments of the girl group were great!
All He Ever Needed by Tay Mo'Nae

I enjoyed this one. I felt like the uncomfortable situation of one night stand turned baby momma turned into love was a realistic timeline in this one.
It is important to note I listened to the podium audiobook so the reviews saying there was a lot of grammatical errors are possibly still very valid but as an audiobook it was flushed out much more than what I am seeing from my mutuals.

Just Our Luck by Denise Williams

I thought this was super cute. I loved how these two just fit so well into each other's lives. I like that they went from a one-night-stand to a slow progression of lust and like into their next time together. Sometimes I'm iffy about winning the lottery plotlines but this one was good and I enjoyed how Sybil used her money.
The relationship with Sybil's family, her mom mostly, was hard to read I'm glad it came to the outcome it did, and while it was working itself out that Kiran was there for her to back her up and showcase her many bright spots instead of showcasing her downfalls like her mom did so often.
These two just worked together and they brought the best out in each other. I had a great time reading!
