I liked this more than the first book and I loved that! Less cringy sex talk thankfully. Loved the wholesome plot and setting, need to move to Wyoming stat

Who am I, liking Western romance?

Liked: the setting (I want to go to Wyoming immediately), the characters, the simple storyline (this isn’t a hard or challenging book by any means)

Disliked: the sex talk. Good lorddd it was bad.

'Did you find the characters loveable?' - absolutely not. Not the book for me.

A predictable, easy book that just held my interest. I would have liked to have read more about Nashville or the other characters…it felt very unfinished and too safe.

Some ramblings after finishing:

- An incredible book and one that will stay with me for a while
- It was good to read a non-WWII book - don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading about WWII, but I've never read about the Vietnam War and I think there should be more stories out there
- This is a long book and at first I wanted it to end in Vietnam, but the last few chapters redeemed part 2
- God I hated some of the characters
- More stories about women please!!
