I struggle with how to review this book. The last 200-250 pages were really good and engaging. The only reason I got to that part of the book is because I was reading it for book club and wanted to finish. It needed a better editor to trim down the vast amount of useless information. I also struggled with how women were portrayed by almost every male character in the book.

I loved the character arc of this book. It was set up so well. I also really loved how they addressed depression.

I loved this book. It had so many surprises. I loved the characters and how how they all just seemed to fit together in this perfectly imperfect way. As a NYC native, it's a bit of a love story to Brooklyn as well.

I love Greek mythology which made it easy to love this book. I enjoyed the way the author brought these characters to life. The story story she wove of Patroclus and Achilles had me loving the two main characters from the start. She really brought a fun modern twist to an age old story.

Funny & insightful. Listened to the audiobook which was narrated by him and it was hilarious. It felt like extended stories from his Instagram. He is a natural comedian and storyteller. This was a fun enjoyable read.
