big fan on how ling ma described the world of candice! eerie to read after all the events that happened in the past two years of our pandemic. what i was most drawn to while reading was candice’s development in her own independence, hopefully i worded that correctly lol

It’s probably the first adult thriller I’ve ever read? On the search for more!! It was insane how much i consumed it within 2.5 days! I was satisfied with the first twist, not sure it really needed a second.
