[♥️] packed w action and romance! prob one of the best of the series next to obsidian! more of a new adult book compared to the previous books. couldn’t stop thinking about it after i put it down. definitely pulled on my heartstrings and made me gasp on the twists that armentrout added. here i actually started to have favorite side characters (i’m talking about u, archer). 4.4 stars.

i even made a playlist :) https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3Q5L9PTcDZV9EjLMQkLRkP?si=tuSLxxQxSiSTCJ2lKBfLAw

bingeworthy, romantic, and kickass!
this series has been my comfort spot for like three months!! one of the best for binge-reading / getting out of a slump.

i love how “opposition” had a nice mix of romance, action, and humor. reading armentrout’s writing felt so fluid for me and all the pop culture references made me cackle, sooo good! i adore the character development of both katy and daemon! their relationship made me swoooooon in this book!

i felt like this book was a little too quick on the external climax... like just that happened after the build up ? there are bits that were confusing about the types of aliens:
[spoiler] ex. the baby was the first origin female ? what about sadie ? [spoiler]

series fav order:
1 origin
? obsidian / opposition
4 opal
5 onyx

i made a 3hr long playlist based of the lux series ♥️ that’s how much i loved reading the books! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3Q5L9PTcDZV9EjLMQkLRkP?si=iC_3sERjRxqhGLg2tXizEg

i did not expect to be this sad!!!!! took me a few days to get thru it, glad i pushed on. dannie and bella’s friendship made the book worth it for me. the rest didn’t make sense until the end, but still felt a little empty besides the twist. it was a nice ending. i feel like i may of liked it more if i read it in a shorter period of time...

very cute and steamy! admittedly, i did fall asleep in parts where it took its time to be descriptive. i feel like part of me not enjoying it all the way was bc of the audiobook narrator took away the “wow!” factor in the sexy scenes. besides that she was great on portraying the emotion in her voice! <3

this is one of the first books of its kind that i’ve read... so outrageous and creepy. got some mixed feelings about this one ! it confused me every once in a while, but i still managed to pull thru especially since there’ll be a hulu series in the future. definitely makes me wanna read more books in the horror genre! 3-4 rating.

4.5 Repetitive at some points, other than that it's super good! The end had me on the edge of my seat! Me the whole time: "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!".
