Basically a list of cognitive biases & tendencies that affect the behaviors of most people—each with few examples but no deep dive. Some are quite similar with one another, make the book redundant in several parts. A good refreshment if you’re into behavioral science, though.

Like the author’s writing style but find the story lacking depth and some dialogues unnatural.

Read the book for my study. It’s very easy to digest—effectively elaborates the development of islamic school of thoughts from the time of the prophet to date. A great introductory read for those aspiring to learn deeper about fiqh.

A wild, dizzying book. The acutely sassy tone of the character got me (it’s a first-person narrative)—which kind of gave the impression that it was intended to be a cool, edgy gore fiction—but the plot was hollow and the last few parts came off as forced. Still “readable”, but that’s all there is to it.
The ending was disappointing too.
