Did not finish book. Stopped at 27%.
I'm not sure why some cozy mysteries work for me and some don't.  I couldn't handle being told again and again that the main character can't bake. We get it, move on! Too slow paced for me.

While I've read quite a few books about race in America, I found this one to still be worthwhile because it is from a white perspective and really calls out progressive people for bias that they may not realize they have.
