A bit of a slog in some places where the historical exposition feels a tad tedious, but overall an excellent story with a very engaging premise.

A nimble read. Not an epic read, by any means, but certainly not shallow. Deep, very satisfying, very rich tapestry of lore to keep you connected to the imaginary locations in very real ways. Definitely a series I will be continuing with.
