It was a very interesting read though it got very slow and boring there in the middle. I liked the way the story built on itself but it definitely struggled with pacing.

For me this is the most mid book in the series thus far. Mostly because it fully retconned a lot of what happened in the original trilogy and the characters were so out of character. I barely recognized Matthew and Diana felt like she regressed from her character growth.

A little too heavily focused on Christianity for my taste but it still had some good nuggets and things to reflect on in my own  life.
