Look. If Jasmine Guillory writes it, I'm reading it. She can't miss!

Margot and Luke have such amazing chemistry, and I loved the small-town vibes in wine country. I loved that Margot was the older MC and the boss!

Highlights: older woman, she's his boss, wine country, secret dating

"If you ever think about going back to Bruce, tell me...I'll show you exactly how good it can be myself."

Very fun read! Emma and Santo are adorable, and I loved that the MCs are grown ups with adult children and careers.

Highlights: student/professor, 40+ MCs, age gap, neighbors, plus-sized FMC

Did not finish book. Stopped at 46%.
The description of the ex-girlfriend really was unnecessarily mean, and for no reason. Gave me the ick.

“It was the fact that I could touch him and not see or hear anything. I could just feel. It was because I...I liked touching him. It was because it was him.”

This is my first JLA book, and I loved it! Just the right balance of world building, what the heck is happening here, and sexual tension. Can’t wait for book two!

Highlights: sassy FMC, morally grey MMC, cliffhanger ending, banter, slow burn

“With him, your life is in danger. With me? The world is. No one touches my wife.”

There’s nothing I love more than a man obsessed, and Kian absolutely is. So obsessed that he drugs and kidnaps her the first time they meet. They work it out in the end though, because he would die before he hurt her.

Highlights: Romeo & Juliet retelling, dark, mafia, forced marriage, kidnapping

“Whatever I am…whoever I am…I’m yours. I’ll spend the rest of my life proving that to you.”

Such an exciting read! I loved watching Jack, Kennedy, and Gabe figure out how they fit together. And I loved Clucky!

“Violet was certain she was going to perish from terminally unmet sexpectations.”

Fun read. The timeline was a bit hard to follow - the author kept jumping around. But Rourke and Violet were sweet, and it was 🔥🔥. I loved the town! I’ll definitely check out book two!

Highlights: monster romance, workplace romance, surprisingly sweet, small town

"You only become a sharpened blade by having the soft parts of you stripped away."

This book is quite the adventure! The main characters are brought together by an assassination plot, and they’re all hiding something. No one is sure who to trust, and that makes for a delightful read - whose story can you believe as a reader?

Can’t wait for book two!

Highlights: dystopian society, political intrigue, everyone is lying, found family, corrupt king

"Asking for help doesn't make you less deserving of anything you've already achieved on your own."

I loved everything about this book. Nova and Charlie are so sweet.

It was so hard to say goodbye to Lovelight Farms, but what a wonderful ending. AND THAT EPILOGUE.
HE'S THE MAYOR ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
I cried.

Highlights: small town, ADHD rep, friends to lovers, found family, just once to get it out of their systems
