A beauuuutiful book. The characters and settings are so vivid and will stay with me. LOVED the way everything came together in the end in such a beautiful way.
Also was so cool to see western Sydney talk in a book!

As always with Hannah Kent, the writing is incredible. Beautiful poetry.
Loved the first half of the book. Second half went somewhere I wasn't expecting and isn't something I'd normally be interested in reading, but I stuck with it and I do think it paid off in the end. You can feel the love in this book.

The charm and uniqueness of the main character comes through so well in the first half. Felt the pace slow a bit towards the end but then the ending hit me suddenly...
A very enjoyable and moving book. Unique storytelling voice and sheds some insight into those living similar stories in the real world.
