This is the way the world end
This book was amazing and so unique to anything I have read so far.
We follow a girl called Waverly, she is use to putting on a mask to seem as normal as can be, as she has autism and finds the world around her overwhelming.
We follow her as she helps the most popular girl Caroline with her homework, and tries on her ball gown dress whilst she is there. Caroline then has a brilliant idea, she is so done with being the center of attention and wants a day off, so she proposed that Waverly goes to the mask ball in her place.
Waverly doesn't know if she wants to, until she hears that her ex girlfriend is going to be there, and that made her decision for her, she will go to the ball disguised as Caroline.
When she goes to the ball it's a dream come true ... until it becomes the worst nightmare she's ever been in ... a murder.. the world burning .... people now after her how is she going to escape this, the whole ballroom is on lockdown
I love how diverse the characters were in this book, it's the first book I read where I could relate to some characters because I also have hypermobility ED and autism.
I loved the twist, it was huge and I did not see it coming. It kept me hooked, I need to know more, and what was going to happen.
The ending was honestly so tense, I was on the edge of my seat, so many emotions burt through me
A definite 5 out of 5 star read, this boo blew my mind

The ninth guest
In this book we follow Elspeth as she get invited to her ex husband Richard's 50th birthday party. She expected a bit party with crowds of people and music blaring, but when she arrives it's only her and seven other carefully selected guests.
It's an uncomfortable evening for her, Richard's being manipulative as always until the moment they all pass out asleep, only to wake up and find Richard dead. They are all now murder suspects.
We follow Elspeth both in the present and the past. In the present we follow her being questioned by the police and her trying to figure out all that happened that evening leading up to his death.
In the past bits we first relive the evening before Richard's death, and then back 10 years to his 40th birthday which is the one which made Elspeth split from him, and then even further back to how they both met.
We find out just what kind of guy Richard truly is.
I would of enjoyed this book a bit more if it did have chapters, as if your a chapter before bed kind of person this book isn't for you.
Also of your looking for a book with a big twist and turn, this is not the book for you, but if you can go into knowing this, then it's a very good read, to discover someone past, and why the guests do want him dead.

In this book we follow 2 people in 2 different times like.
In the present we follow Maddy. Maddy is your typical moody teenager, but with a lot of baggage. She didn't trust him in and is always down on her luck, and oh yeah to add to it she's a foster kid. Her offer was going down hill, she just got expelled from school for a week, her foster parents are mad, and she feels like nothing is going right in her life, that is until one day everything changes.
We also follow Alexandre from Paris in 1881, he is a young and handsome bachelor, but his looks do land him in some trouble at times. We follow him as he goes on a family expedition to turkey to dig up and discover cursed accident catacombs which part was accidently found. The whole village there does not want to go anywhere near the sight, and talks of doom and bad things, but Alexandres family doesn't listen and want to discover this ancient site and what it has to offer.
The book was amazing, it kept me hooked, the dramatic twists and events that happened at the end and the romance and mystery, I loved every second of it, I can't wait to read the next too books and see where they take me

The silent patient.
In this book we follow 2 characters, Theo who is a psychiatrist who just arrived at a new facility, and we follow his most interested patient called Alicia.
Alicia's life seemed perfect until one day she shot her husband five times in the head. Since that horrifying day she has never said one single word and Theo wants to find out why, and how to get her to talk and open up.
He has a hard challenge ahead of him, will he be able to do what so many have failed to do?
Theo's life isn't going easy or straight forwards either, but he doesn't let that get in the way of his work.
I love how this book flipped back to before the killing in a diary of Alicia's, so we could see some of her thoughts and how her days were leading up to the killing of her husband.
This was such a good gripping book, trying to find and uncover what happened.
Omg the twist at the end I never saw coming. I had many thoughts and ways that it could of happened, how it went down, but how it ended shocked me as it never went through my mind.
An amazing 5 out ot 5 star psychological thriller book

She grows ever more concerned and decided to make a deal with Jack for some goods, in return he helps search for her kin. Along their journey she finds out Jacks true nature of deceiving and lying to people and starts to have doubts.
We follow them both on their journey, to try and find Ang kin and Jack making money and conning people on the way which can never end too well.
They soon come across danger and find out about 2 very dangerous people they should never try and find, but Jack doesn't quite listen and decided to do the opposite and soon finds himself in a while new world of trouble and danger.
I really enjoyed this book, not know what was to come next, what else would be in this world, with the different lines of plains that overlap each other.
The ending was good, I was hoping for more, but it did leave me wanting to find out more and read the next book.

Widow of weeping pines
We follow a woman called Betty Lou but she likes to be called Betts. She is an therapist turned writer and has 2 books out. Her life is far from perfect.
In this book we follow her story and how unhappy her life is, the mystery behind her ex husbands death, the crazy detective who seems to ask the wrong sort of questions, and her now fiancĂ© who is starting to act strange and distant, but why.
This book had some amazing twists and turn in it at the end. I did not see the story unfolding the way it did.
I like that this book mentioned mental health as well as with what happens in a small town, how people connect and help each other, even if its wrong.
It was a very enjoyable quick read

The other people  by C.J. Tudor
In this book we follow a few people
The first person who is Gabe who was driving home from work one day, stuck behind a van, suddenly he thinks he sees his daughter in the van, but its late so he thinks nothing off it, he so tired, it couldn't of be her, right. He notices his phone is almost dead and he has to ring home to say he is going to be late. He pulls over to the services and rings home using a pay phone, only to be answered by an unfamiliar voice saying "something has happened, its about your wife and daughter". They say their dead, but has a feeling that his daughter is still alive,  he saw her in that car, he knows he did, and he won't stop until he finds the truth.

We also follow Fran and Alice. Fran and Alice and are on run, what and who from is uncertain, but they have to keep moving. Alice has this strange sort of condition/power, where if she looks in a mirror or hears a strong voice she fall dead asleep and is transported to somewhere else. When ever she does wake up she has a beach pebble or shell in her hand and Fran can not explain why, she's been searching for a cure, for why she falls dead asleep but she can't find one, all she knows is she got to protect her, no matter what. Alice sometimes remember snippets of what happens when she falls asleep, but not all of it, all she knows is someone needs her help, a small girl.
There is one thing connecting them all, the deep darkness of the other people.
As the story unraveled this book became so tense, I didn't know who to trust, who not to, but as the story unfolded I was in shock, I never expected such twist and turns, I flew through the second half of this book, wanting to know it all, wanting to unravel it, wanting to know if they were safe.
 A definitely 5 star read.

Touch of faete
Wow what an amazing deep adventure.
In this book we follow a girl called Ryanne. She look like an ordinary girl to anyone there but in truth she isn't ordinary at all. She can see other creatures and have visions if she touches people sometimes. She also have an annoying little sidekick called Bricius, now Bricius isn't a human, and no one can see him or hear him apart from Ryanne as he is a pixie.
We also follow Titus, Titus had a dark beast inside him, telling him to kill, craving for murder. Titus is also not fully human either, he is a pirate, from a different realm., he misses the old days back on the sea where he could actually be himself, he hates this human modern world where technology and guns have taken over, he longs for his ship and his sword, but he has to please the beast inside him before it takes over fully. He is an important creature with no soul.
Titus bumps into Ryanne and soon finds out she isn't fully human and she is touched by fae, he could fetch a fair price for her so tried to kidnap her, but things don't go according to plan as he soon finds himself in custody of the fae world. Ryanne has to now choose her destiny and path, to help the fae and discover the pirates weakness or go back to a full human life and never see the fae world again.
This book was amazing, I love the description of everything, so you can see and truly appreciate the world around. I love how tense things were, it was a very good flowing read. I wanted to know more, it kept me reading and wondering. The betrayal, romance, adventure and magic within made this a beautiful read

The wicked girls by Alex Marwood
In this book we mainly follow 2 women, Kirstyand Amber.
Where Amber lives there have been horrible murdered which drawn the attention of Kirsty and she is a new reported. Amber works as a cleaner at a fun fair and the murders become all to real to her and she finds the body of a young woman in the mirror maze. Kirsty gets wind of this and heads down to there to scoop a story as she really needs the publicity and the money.
Whilst she is there she accidently bumps into Amber and they are both horrified and scared because of what happened when they were kids, the horror they did, the blood on their hands. They were never ever ment to meet again or even come near each other, bit here they are.
I loved how the book showed what happened in the past and whats happening in the present. But I did enjoy the way that they show the past as its all jumbled up. From the disaster happening to then how they met, to then after the disaster then back to week before. It was so hard to follow as it wasn't a straight line which I think would of done this hook more justice.
I also did like how many things were happening at once, from the murders and murder, to the psycho stalker, to then what happened in the past, there were just too many elements to keep track of.
Thats why this book is getting a 3 stars , I did enjoy it but there was just too much confusion and too many things happening.

Blood feud, this is the second book in the drake chronicles
In this book we follow different people then in the first. In the first we followed the drakes only daughter Solange and her best friend Lucy.
In thus one we follow one of the brother Logan and a older vampire born in the French revolution and bitten and turned then too called Isabeau.
Isabeau is not a standard vampire but a hound. They live in caves and have great big dogs live and serve them.
In this book we follow Isabeau as she tried to hunt down and find the Lord which turned her into a vampire and left her for dead centuries ago.
I love how it switched from the present to the past, so we can see just what Isabuea went through in the French rebellion before she was turned into a vampire and what happened when she was to hate the guy that turned her so so much.
This book was filled with mystery, love, betrayal, war and magic.
It was an amazing book and I cant wait to see what the next book bring to this series, and who we will follow next time.
