This was the biggest disappointment ever. I hated Oak’s character and didn’t care at all for wren. DNF’d at chapter 14 ://

THIS WAS AMAZING!!! I’m still new to reading and picked this one up as it was half off, but it was truly fantastic! I loved the more toned down fantasy world and how it combined more modern things like cars and guns with more tradition fantasy elements (this might be very normal but again. I’m new to reading aghh) and I adored the romance subplot. It felt natural and the characters had good chemistry (even if it was a bit predicable)!! One last note the magic system is amazing so simple but so satisfying I loved it. Out of the 6 books I’ve read so far this year this one is my FAVOURITE!

THIS WAS SO GOOD!!!! Darius <3333 I was encapsulated by both the leads in this, as well as the two sisters. Every character really was very well written and I could not put the book down. I loved it. It was slow at bits during the first half but that might be down to my reading comprehension skills. Also CHAPTER 31?!?!?? AHHHH??!!! Very excited for the next two books and what they have in store!!
