I was hopeful during the first 30% of the book but honestly it fell flat for me after that! I enjoyed all the character development but I felt like there was waayyy to much going on at once and far to many storylines jumbled together.

I was expecting quite a few plot twists and ‘edge of your seat’ moments but I feel like the opportunity for those said moments were missed. There were so many creepy aspects on the brink of being amazing- but the lack of attention to these aspects by the characters fizzled them out.

I enjoyed how the book was written with regards to how the author switched between past and present and the main 4 characters perspectives. I was concerned I would find it confusing but I think it added to the book/story

Unfortunately, this just wasn’t for me! I’m a thriller, stay up all night, jaw to the floor plot twists kind of girl- and it didn’t hit the spot.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the Arc

WOW WOW WOW! When I tell you this is officially one of my favourite books!! Just incredible writing, plot development, plot twists galore and incredible characters with a ‘wtf’ ending- and the seamless ‘past and present’ storytelling was just *chefs kiss*. I have so much I want to discuss but don’t want to spoil the book for anyone!

Short book that took me an insanely long time to read because honestly I was so bored. By the time I got to the end I just didn’t care anymore. Not for me!

I really don’t know how I feel about this one? I’m struggling to collect my thoughts. I found the first 1/3 of the book very creepy, atmospheric and actually had me struggling to sleep! But then it got very very repetitive…. VERY repetitive BUT I still found it relatively enjoyable? URGH I DONT KNOW!
