I have heard of this series and have been meaning to read. Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to see what it is all about. It was fun, violent, campy, gory, and a bit out there! Surprised to see some Lovecraftian influences. I got exactly what I expected to get from this ARC

As of today, my second favorite book I’ve read in 2024. I’ve never read a revenge/vengeance novel like this before. Sprinkled throughout the violence and physical brutality there are themes of grief, love, friendship, tolerance, and understanding. A modern masterpiece that may not be for everyone.

For a Dan Brown purist, it's what you would expect. Started off really interesting, but my predictions rang true by the end. Not blown away by this one.

The BEST nonfiction book about creativity I’ve ever read in my life. The highest of praise, the highest of recommendations, every single creator needs to own and read it, turn to it for the down days, and grab it for motivation and inspiration.

What a gem of a book! Full spoiler free review on my channel. Horror with a heart. A story of grief, survival, revenge, and some unique furry friends. Trigger warning: dementia themes. Highly recommend for a lot of story in a little novella.

This book gave me everything I expect from an Eric LaRocca book. Cringe worthy, mouth gaping, squeamish prose that still has the ability to convey emotion and depth. Loved it!

If you are tip toeing into horror, this book may be for you. It missed the mark for me. The writing was beautiful, but the characters fell a little flat for me. I didn’t feel gripped at all with the story. Enjoyable, but not amazing.

A great book chock full of Pennsylvania haunted places that include local history and first hand encounters/witness testimony. Loved reading in stories and experiences. Happy to say that a few of my local places were featured in that book and reading this book just made them a hell of a lot creepier!
