A really good compilation of short crime fiction edited by Ed McBain. I have nothing to compare it to, so 4 stars from me.

Pure childhood fun. Wound up captured and somehow naked. LOL!

This was different, unique, enlightening, and informative. The storytelling was pretty amazing and honestly - I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with so many different and unique themes. Happy to have experienced it all.

Lovely book of poetry full of city residents and their inward thoughts, feelings, emotions, and personas. Each poem carries a different flavor and feeling. Full transparency, Gareth is a friend but I would leave the same review if he were a stranger. ☺️

I wanted MORE. So many great starts!!! Intriguing characters and settings. I want full novels of a lot of these story vignettes.

This was a hell of a lot of fun. A great horror book for all the fashion girls. Think Devil Wears Prada but throw in a cult and some demons! I really do enjoy Wendy’s writing and style!

The follow up book to Undead Folk. This is an ARC that was given to me in exchange for a review.

Oh, how I have missed some of these characters! This second installment definitely has a darker, grittier story that is jam packed with action, characters, and tough decisions to be made. In this book, Janet is an absolute force to be reckoned with. She is tough, driven, agile, deadly, and yet there is a vulnerability that is still accessible. She is on a mission and I cannot wait to see what’s next. A very nice second installment that, yet again, made me want MORE! Both books in this series are highly recommended for fans of grief horror with a massive dose of vengeance.
