What a wonderfully written story, a pure joy to read from beginning to end with a beautiful undertone about loss, family and love. Not what I was expecting, I loved it!!

I struggled with this story - for most of the book there isn’t a Murder or mystery to solve. This meant I found it very difficult to engage and stay interested. It was still a good book but not my favourite Christie by a long shot!

Straight away I loved Kate and Freddie. Both their stories in the beginning drew me in and I felt connected to them and very invested in them finding their happiness.

By chapter 5 I was completely hooked and needed to know what happens to them both.

The writing style throughout is easy to follow with realistic situations and dialogue. The story touched on mental Heath struggles in particular and I felt it was handled very well!

I loved how the story grew and in particular the ending, I found the story to be very realistic and believable.

This story is captivating from the very beginning to the very end; which says a lot as it’s 600+ pages.

One thing I particularly loved were the beginning of all the chapters, which had advice/rules for writing a good book when, they subtly set the scene for what is to come in the story. A very clever addition to this novel.

I loved how all the relationships evolved and the uncovering past stories, the trauma, the trust.

I loved the unfolding investigation, the mystery surrounding what happened.

The narration of the past events was done very well indeed.... I loved the side characters, the setting, the twists.

I would recommend this book! 5/5!

I enjoyed this easy to read story which follows three best friends In very different journeys in love. There were elements I’d like to have seen expanded on but I did enjoy the link to real life events!

This book was over so quickly that I didn’t realise I didn’t even have a chance to DNF it. It was written very clumsily and fell very short of what I was expecting. There was really no substance at all. Not for me.

This was an easy going read with some predictable twists. That’s being said I did really enjoy the flow, the characters and following the mini adventure of Ava!

My first book by this author and WOW, what a story!

Full of twists, turns, developments and surprises. I was guessing the whole way through at what was going on but there was no way I could have predicted the ending. A perfectly tied up and satisfying ending.

It was written so cleverly that I kept on feeling sorry for certain characters and then changing my mind and then going back, kept me on my toes from the beginning.

If you want a fast paced mystery/thriller, look no further.

I am now going to go and buy everything else by this author!

This is a delightful book. I was really taken in by all the characters from the start, I loved watching their relationships grow. There were a few twists and turns along the way, it was a true delight. I loved the way everything turned out and I’d love to see what happens to the Farm!
