Unlike any other shift romance novel I’ve read!!! This book was great!! I was completely absorbed by the end of the first chapter and I just didn’t put it down. The characters had so many layers of depth to them and the dialogue among them was believable. The plot was different and interesting. Absolutely my new favorite. A definite TBR if you were unsure!

I did not expect to get so attached and so invested in this novel. I mean, I was “throw the book down and take a deep breath” invested in this novel! I had a preference for Harlow and I was shipping it SO SO SO hard. I found myself wanting to get on our MC’s level and give her some real advice. This book is not a romance book where the end goal is for the girl to end up with the guy. Even though there were times when it felt like it might take a turn in that direction. I was pleasantly surprised when Harlow truly found herself and realized her own worth. I can’t give more away without totally wrecking the plot, but suffice to say our girl finally realizes that, ain’t nobody gonna love you, if you don’t even love you.
SO GOOD 10/10

I’m going to be super honest. I have no idea if I even enjoyed this book. It took me almost three weeks to finish (which is unheard of at my house). I kept putting it down and not wanting to pick it back up. But then, I would find myself thinking about it and theorizing about it when I wasn’t reading. It was a weird reading experience for me.

WOW. Sarah J Maas did it again! The third book in the ACOTAR series did not disappoint! Feyre truly came into her own and showed up! There was A LOT to unpack in this book. It definitely put my emotions through the ringer and tied up some of the loose ends for our leading couple

The second installment in this series is a doozy! From beginning to end there are twists and turns that keep you on your toes. I was captivated from the very get go! If for some reason, you were unsure if you should continue the series… let me answer you now. Yes. You should! There was so much character growth and real emotion!! Many of my questions after reading book one (A Court of Thorns and Roses) were answered. I was left reeling with the twists and surprises at the end, that last chapter was wild

I am not typically a high fantasy fan, I usually find this genre slow going and it proves difficult to hold my attention. However, Sarah J. Maas did an excellent job of catching my attention right off the bat! This first installment definitely left me with more questions than answers, but that is what book two is for, right!?

I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. I THINK THIS WHOLE SERIES IS GOING TO BE VERY CAPTIVATING AND I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING MY WAY THROUGH IT!
