The Country of the Blind: A Memoir at the End of Sight by Andrew Leland

Very nice memoir with the perfect balance of life stories with historical context and current events. The audio is great! I just wish there wasn’t so strict adherence to gender binary.
Tread of Angels by Rebecca Roanhorse

A great little novella about the goodness of evil and the corruption of good.
The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese

It was a long slog with many storylines throughout. The last hundred pages or so everything came together and it was beautiful. I’m so glad I stuck with it. The medical elements were so fascinating to me.

I’m entirely too literal and linear a thinker to fully appreciate all that this book offers. However, I felt this book with my whole body while reading it and the artwork was entrancing.
Gathering Moss: A Natural and Cultural History of Mosses by Robin Wall Kimmerer

Fantastic science nature writing. I continue to hold space each night that Robin Wall Kimmerer isn’t done writing yet.
Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree

Nearly saccharine sweet but it was the perfect book for me at the perfect time.
