Very nice memoir with the perfect balance of life stories with historical context and current events. The audio is great! I just wish there wasn’t so strict adherence to gender binary.

It was a long slog with many storylines throughout. The last hundred pages or so everything came together and it was beautiful.  I’m so glad I stuck with it. The medical elements were so fascinating to me.

I’m entirely too literal and linear a thinker to fully appreciate all that this book offers. However, I felt this book with my whole body while reading it and the artwork was entrancing.
