OMG i was obsessed with this book. the first 20% to 30% draged a little for me to a point was worried i'd dnf it but when the kinda-but-not-really friendship started i was sold. i spend all the book wanting to beat some sense into the MMC even tho a little part of me understood his reasons. Millie also annoyed me sometimes, especially when she was feeling sorry ofr herself.
oh, and there were so much DRAMA (non derogatory) - i loved it
and i'm a sucker for books that have plot points surrounding food, so i was happy seeing the FMC cooking, wanting to share it and talking about what food means to her.

oh this was exactly what i needed right now: a good fantasy/sci-fi romance. the world building was very interesting and i can't wait to learn more. i just loved the brothers and sisters, the couple and how their relationship was developed. i'm a sucker for fake mariage trope where the LI - for the dismay of the MC - wins the affection of everyone around them lol
also, so much ANGST, CRAVING YEARNING

i enjoyed this one more - it was a good change of pace with the plot having nothing to do with the priest cult, and i liked the MMC (even tho he did some really shitty things in the last 1/3 of the book). the thing still bothering me is the relationship between the brothers and how they won't talk to each other.
at this point i'm questioning why i didn't give up on the series *smh*

I'm having fun with this series but oh boy i mad with the poor plot points.
bro after everything that happened in the first book why no one is having a conversation? just go talk to your brothers!

Did I inhaled this book in one day? Yes, I did (I'm going through something right now, ok)
I loved the dynamic at the beginning where Allarick is thinking Ophelia is highly skilled assassin who would kill him while he sleeps, and she's like "I'm just here to get my monster kinky out". They both were good characters... untill we get to the final part and the lack of communication is just a dumb at this point. But the being afraid x being horny plot was very funny to me - I loved it.
There's a lot of smut on this one and a few scenes bothered me but I can't quite explain why. Maybe is that I'm not used to read omega stories?
Oh, and this book could be shorter. For how long it was, I thought the Hunters plot was very lacking and rushed.
Will I continue with the series? Probably not. And this is not the authors fault: is that with most of the the series I read I like to get into the world, enjoy it, get out and never go back again.
