I really liked this one. Love that most part of the book is just the traveling and getting to know each other. I never get bored with them and I kinda wish we had more time with them on the road. It was a fun, cozy (even with all the blood and fights lol) and yeah, like the author said in the notes, a bit cheezy story.

This is a public service announcement: despite what the title says there's no babies in this book.
So many things bothered me while reading this - including the misleading title - but the SA at the beginning and the "sexual exploration" while the FMC was unconscious scene were awful.
Makes me wonder why so many alien romances that envolves crashing landing on a strange planet have some SA plot. This need to stop.

This was everything i've been missing in a book: being completely lost in the story. I adored Selene and how she doesn't loses faith after everything that happened. And Memnon - omgg I loved him so much. There's something to be said about an unhinged powerful character who makes bad decisions in the name of ~love~.
This book got all the things I loved about The Bargainer series - a love that spam years, fate, a very careless MMC and a fiercy FMC - but being more profound and with the stakes higher IMO. I can't quite explain besides saying this got me by the throat and I'm happy about it.
The middle of the story stressed the hell out of me but the third part? Even more so. There's a lot of side plots but it didn't feel convoluted at all. One thing to keep in mind: you won't get many answers about the murders and the end has a cliffhanger (I can't believe I'll have to wait an entire year to read the next one *insert 'it's not fair' gif here*).
PS.: I think it was a missed opportunity to have the familiars talk. Just saying.

The beginning and the climax were kinda good, but the middle part dragged too much. A lot of things were resolved quickly or off page.
Drinking game alert: drink a glass of water everytime Dragath25 is mentioned - you'll thank me later lol

Can't believe I'm saying this but the book should've been smaller. Everything I liked about the characters started to annoying at the end, it was just too much.
