This book was so good! Loved the story and the characters. There were so many twist and turns and the book was hilarious. I laughed from beginning to end. There were some grammatical errors but I knew what the authors meant. So I was able to overlook them.
The story is really good. Lots of twist and turns. Although it would seem like the storyline was predictable it wasn't. I have it 4 stars just because of the editing. It was bad!!!!!! At one point I assume bc the main character was cooking she was using onions but in the book it said she was cutting up "opinions". And that wasn't the only error.
It was just ok. Nothing about it excited me or really kept my interest. I only finished it because I thought maybe something would happen. In my opinion its neither good nor bad. It just is. And there were a lot of grammatical errors.
Solid storyline. Still fast paced but well written and explained. Still loved the characters. The tail end left me with my mouth open. Now for the things I didn't care for...so I felt like all of the characters progressed, grew and developed except for Em. I felt like if anyone should've grown it would've been her seeing as she's the oldest out of the group. She was educated and established but she was very naive, green, insecure and slightly immature. Not how I would expect a doctor to be. Like Em was really out here hanging with 17 & 18 year olds at 28. I did however like her and Myeke together when she wasn't being insecure. Also I wished Myeke would've had the chance to figure out the connection between Deuce and Siya. And lastly what bothered me the most was that between all three books Zoie's mom's name changed a lot. Some pages her name was Brenda and then other pages her name was Victoria then it was back to Brenda. So I'm what her name was. But besides that the book and the series were good. I am not disappointed in the least little bit.
Still as good as the first one. Still love Zoie, O'Hajee, Myeke, River, Al and Ms. Tina. ZoIe's mom is still so infuriating! Glad there was a plan and they're slowly piecing this together but it's about to get really interesting now. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
This book was good from the very first page! This story gave me all the feels. Happy, sad, disgusted etc. It had funny moments. It had it all. Loved the characters as well. On to part 2!
Nice novella. Liked the storyline and characters. Halley and Have were the sweetest. Loved little Tylo. Gotta love the innocence of children. But that Tori girl was trash!
Eli! Eli! Eli! Eli! May I please have an Eli in real life? I loved me some Eli and I loved this story from the first page until the very last page. As far as I can recall I don't remember Ms. Lewis writing a story like this and I am not disappointed at all. It was different but in a very good way. Now Eli that man there was the definition of "standing on business". He did not play when it came to his family or his business. And he especially did not play when it came to Kai. Bc if my man don't step for me like Eli was stepping for Kai...send him back! I don't want him! I loved the complexities and the growth and development of the characters. And just the overall story was chef's kiss 👩🏽🍳😘 and idk why but I was disappointed in Shawnelle. Like girl!!!!!! Ugh! And the turn in the book I did not see coming. I kept talking & wondering out loud what happened to set all this into play and when it was revealed I was stunned. This book is great. I would recommend it to anybody but especially anybody that loves a good love story. It's really beautiful. There are trials & tribulations and some nagging here and there from Kai but the love story is there big, bold & beautiful. And I loved it. Also Kai's mom was a ki and I loved her friends Maeve & Luna. They were such good friends. Now her dad=the worst. Angelyn =🚮 but let me go because I feel like I'm saying too much. Just go buy the book. You won't be disappointed! Very well written!
