Cute, nice, quick read. Liked the storyline. Hated Mal and Tia. Loved Midnight and Tyme. Some times it's good to get your lick back.

This is a NTM author and I am so impressed. I loved this story and the characters. There was so much diversity amongst the characters but they all tied in and flowed so well together. I loved the growth and progression of Kay & Blue. This was a beautiful and maybe a little unconventional love story. But unconventional because of it being somewhat taboo. But a beautiful, well written love story nonetheless. I enjoyed this book a lot. Hope to read more from this author in the future.

Good story. Likeable characters. I liked Charli, Mocha, Pudgy and Eric. But I loved Eno and Chauncey aka Sire. And it was good catching up with Toi, Stori, Kalani, Nas and Remo. This story caught and held my attention and I'm not sure I've ever read a story like this. Which is refreshing. Overall good book. I will be reading more from this author.

Unconventional. Not they typical boy meets girl or better yet bad boy meets good girl and they fall in love story. This story was different. Not in a bad way though. I liked it. But it was different in the way they met and how their relationship progressed. I honestly was kinda happy for Ro and Ree. They made it work. They both were good souls with good heads on their shoulders. And neither one of them were toxic. Which I appreciated. Sometimes you just want a gentle love story.

This was a good, quick novella with a good storyline. This is a NTM author and I'm not disappointed. The characters that were meant to be likeable were and the ones that weren't supposed to be likeable weren't. I liked the character progression and development and surprisingly the story although short and fast paced didn't seem rushed if that even makes sense 😂

Nice story. Liked the characters. Storyline was ok. Seemed a tab bit unrealistic but it's an urban fiction story. If you're gonna go big, go huge

This one was better than the first one. Vino was a lot more bearable to tolerate. Syble had it with him and bossed up. Veto is nuts. I feel bad for Alizah and somehow not shocked by Easel. But Syble and Vino just kept going through it. They were the textbook definition of "it's always something". Bc every time I thought my girl would some peace something else would happen.

Imma say it since I don't see it in any other reviews, the character's names change A LOT! One minute it's calling Veto Vance the next minute it's calling him Vino. So in that sense it was hard to keep up with who was who. You could tell by the storyline specifically when it was Veto but it was really difficult to follow Vino's story with all of the name switching. Vino is so rude and nasty to Syble it's disgusting. He was absolutely awful to her the entire book. It drove me nuts and had me contemplating just abandoning the book all together and getting a refund. It really was that bad. Bc you would think that if a person needed you to do something for them they would go out of their way to be pleasant, not Vino. How Syble didn't have a nervous breakdown is beyond me bc I wanted to have one and I'm just reading the book. Also how did Vino go out of the country? If immigration is after you it seems like immigration & customs wouldn't let you back into a country you're already in illegally. Bc how did he even get a passport? Why wasn't immigration after Veto as hard as they were with Vino? He's older so common sense would lean towards him being here illegally as well. Book was all over the place and my 3.5 star rating is me being very, very generous.
