I thought that this was cute and loved that it did not have the miscommunication trope (my least favorite). I did really enjoy this couple. I don't quite put my finger on the reason why I didn't just love this but it might have something to do with the fact that this is the last book in the series but the first one that I am reading haha

This series continues to impress. There are so many twists and turns and the way that everything connects is really cool. This one did have a bit of a lull in the middle section for me. I am really excited to see how it ends though. Olivie Blake's writing is amazing!

I don't really know how I feel about this. It was very weird but also kind of cool at the same time. I wanted to connect to Binti and the other characters more but found it hard to make myself care.

I LOVEDDDDDD THIS!!!!!! The magic and the lore was so cool. The plot twists were hitting and didn't disappoint even when you were able to guess them. I wish it were a little more spicy though (just a little bit haha). It was supposed to be this seductive land but it felt too tame to me. I can't wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds.
I am fully rooting for Yeeran and Furi and NEED them to be together!

Definitely cute! I loved the baking scenes and the spice was spicing. I didn't like how the conflict was drawn out for over half of the book. Also, I didn't feel like we got enough time with the couple acting being a couple. Excited to continue on in the series though.

I wanted to love this so much more than I did. The worst part of the story for me was definitely Jasmine. She was insufferable to say the least. In my opinion, she did not deserve Rahul at all. She definitely took advantage of him, and it just felt wrong.

This was pretty cute! I always love the fake dating trope. I like the characters bbuutt Retta gave me the ick for sure. She was trying entirely too hard and too much to prove that she was over her ex. The breakup was definitely annoying and unnecessary. Overall, pretty good.
