I mainly bought this book because of No Exit and didn't think I would read the other plays. But I did. And surprisingly I found them to be really good, especially Dirty Hands and The Respectful Prostitute.
I'm surprised I enjoyed reading this as much as I did.

At the beginning it felt like I was reading a book similar to 'A certain Hunger' because the main character was kind of unlikeable, written in a style similar to Chelsea G. Summers. But that changed throughout it and I really liked the ending.

I'm disappointed, I thought this book would be better. Generally it's an interesting idea for a modern retelling, but it was badly executed. Also I didn't like this version of Persephone.
And why use the word primal so much?

Mostly a very cozy and cute book. I enjoyed it a lot, but the relationship drama was kinda foreseeable.

I find it difficult to rate this book. On one hand it really annoyed me (especially when Miles had to mention the 'soft curves' of Alaskas body for the 476 time) and was somewhat boring to read (especially most of the after part). But on the other hand, the parts that were nice were very nice. I also kinda hated Miles. But I like Chips and Alaskas character. Additionally it probably didn't boost my enthusiasm, that I had to read it for school.

I'm really disappointed by this book.
The cover is so pretty with its "pop art"-esque style and the two different colours.
Also the concept? Cool idea! Furthermore I really really enjoyed the first aproxamtly 200pages. I thought this would be a 4.5-5 star book. But after the romance started to pick up at said 200 pages I just didn't really like it anymore.
And then additionally this kind of random Fredrick-gets-imprisoned thing and her having this idea to save him, that works out perfectly fine without any complications and him just randomly at the same time convincing Miss Jameson not to marry him, when she obviously wanted it before... it's just so stupid.

It just felt a bit rushed at the end and I felt like the more I read, the lesser I enjoyed it.
