The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

i've been trying to think what words to describe this book. strange? no, strange has a simplicity edge to it, this book is not it. perhaps the justified words would not be found any sooner but for now let's use peculiar. peculiar beauty. a world beneath a world beneath a world. everything, something, nothing. i am so in awe. flooded with a feeling of knowingness and not-knowing-anything-at-all. does that make sense? u know what. i was just being woken up w the fact that there really is no point or meaning in life. no. see, there really isn't. this book is that sudden realization. at first it would flood you. maybe not with water, or wind, maybe honey. sticky, harder to brush. you know and then you don't know. are you crying? next time you are not. an endless obscure circle. until you get out of that circle of knowing and unknowing. an acceptance of oh. this life has no meaning, and then you move on to live and find a meaning for yourself. a story within a story within a story with perhaps no meaning until someone, somebody, not body, a rabbit, gives one. they go on with that story to an end, or a new beginning, or another endless endings, i don't know. pretty sure i failed at giving a meaning or a point to this review but we can try another time.
