I absolutely adored WildWood Revisited!! If you enjoy historical fiction with a twist, I think you'll really love this cozy read. The pace was quick and engaging, the characters were interesting and loveable with layered pasts, and the plot held me close to the pages from start to finish. There were just so many things I loved! If only it had been longer!! For my full review, check out my blog here: https://fairytalesandtea.com/wildwood-revisited/

This book is my absolute favorite that I read this year. If you are at all interested in WWII history, especially in the code-breaking arena, this book is a must-read. We were lucky enough to visit Bletchley Park soon after I read The Rose Code and it is a trip I will remember for the rest of my life. I enjoyed The Silvered Serpents more than I did The Gilded Wolves, and I think that's because we don't have to sit through the world-building and introductions. The world is primed for us to walk right in and then we are off to the races! I thought the plot of this book was interesting and I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed getting a deeper dive into many of the characters. For a full review, check out my book blog here: https://fairytalesandtea.com/the-silvered-serpents/

I was so lucky to read Wise Gals before it was published (thank you Netgalley and G.P. Putnam's Sons for the ARC!). I thought it was an incredible book about incredible women. Definitely going to buy a physical copy when it is published! For my full review, check out my book blog here: https://fairytalesandtea.com/wise-gals/

The Gilded Wolves is not without flaws, but I still enjoyed it. I found the concept interesting and once I got to know the characters a little more, I fell in love with many of them. For my full review, check out my book blog here: https://fairytalesandtea.com/the-gilded-wolves/

I love Fredrik Backman and I think he's written another phenomenal book. Again, he shows us that we're all more alike than we realize, and if we can dig through the rough exterior, we can usually find a friend in the strangers we meet.
