Beautiful compelling story about love, loss, grief, and family through the lens of a young Ghanaian British woman. Maddie’s character development and growth in the story was amazing and her journey really resonated with me, especially as a Black woman working in predominantly white spaces - it was scary how much I could relate to a lot of her experiences.
Highly recommend!
