I enjoyed the book but nothing really special tbh. 3 stars
Heartstopper Volume 4 by Alice Oseman

Best book in the series so far, deals with very heavy topics such as mental illness, eating disorders and family issues in such a mature and well written way.
Also the sister, Tori is the BEST character in this series! When she kicked that idiot’s phone?! Chefs kiss!

“‘Here,’ Majorie said, ‘Have it.’ She lifted the stone from her neck, and placed it around Marcus’s. ‘Welcome home.’”
This book broke me. Yaa Gyasi’s debut novel speaks of her sheer talent in writing and pulling you in. I love this book so much.
Has to be the best book I’ve read all year so far.

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

This book was fantastic and a great African classic. For a debut novel, Achebe displays a masterful and powerful prose as we see a pre-colonial Igbo tribe and how things literally fall apart when western colonizers arrive and utilize religion to invade the tribe and its people. Highly recommend!
