This Is How You Lose the Time War by Max Gladstone, Amal El-Mohtar

Mixed feelings on this book as the story was thrilling but very exhausting due to the flowery and high level
sci-fi prose, and honestly felt dumb while reading.
However I believe this book deserves a reread sometime in the future.

I could not put this book down! Typically sequels are less inspired; not as good as the first book however it’s the opposite for this series as I found the second book to be much more engaging whimsical and magical than the first (and the first was already magical enough)!
Can’t wait for book 3

Would have been rated higher if it wasn’t for the hogwash that was chapter 11. Majority of the characters are unlikeable especially Lord Henry and Wilde’s flowery prose doesn’t appeal to me.
