I really enjoyed the setting and while it lacked a bit in the middle part, the last few hundred pages really pulled it together. I would have liked to see more in the end, since that felt a bit rushed.

I really liked the setup but sadly I could not sympathize with the characters, who I found to be written in a flat way. The story had its interesting parts but some parts really dragged on

I really enjoyed returning to the world of Elfhame and while I still prefer the original three books, this is a great addition. The characters were interesting and even though i found the ending a bit predictable I  always had an interesting time reading the book. I really liked the main characters and could understand their intentions and their background. The chemistry between the main characters was really good but I would have liked to see some more of Jude and Cardan, since they were only ever mentioned but never actually showed up. All in all a very good book, excited for the next one.

bloodmarked continued the story of legendborn really nicely and i enjoyed it very much. I love the characters and how they developed throughout this book. I do think that the middle is a bit slow and sometimes confusing but interesting, action-packed scenes make up for this. The many new characters and all of the new information was a bit much at times but i found it managable.
I'm not a fan of love triangles and while i liked some of the scenes with sel i did really miss nick and i'm nerous to see how this will turn out in the next book.
The ending was really emotional and i can't wait for the next book to release.

i started this without any prior knowledge and was blown away. The author manages to combine topics like grief and racism with fantasy and adventure in a way that makes everything really understandable, even for readers that don't relate to bree that much. Some parts of the "magic system" were a bit confusing to me but nothing that threw me off. Legendborn is truly an amazing ya-fantasy book that i can only recommend and i'm very excited for the next one.

it took me a while to get this book and since i'm not usually a high-fantasy reader, i knew this wasn't going to be a five star read. But i was surprised and i did end up enjoying the story and being able to follow it without having to constantly look up things. I liked that it had multiple pov's but i have to say that i did enjoy ead's and tané's pov's the most and did not really care about niclays and loth. Since this book was really long, i got kind of bored in the middle but the ending, more specifically the last 100 pages, really tied it together for me. I think it's a great book if you enjoy high-fantasy and complex worldbuilding and are ready to stick to it for some of the more boring parts.

somehow i missed this book when it was released and only found out about it after re-reading the original hunger games books last december. It took me a while to really get into the story but once i was invested, i could not stop reading. I love the hunger games world and it was so interesting to see it in a different time. I also enjoyed the character of Snow, since i sometimes caught myself sympathizing with him, even though he is clearly a horrible person. However I would have liked seeing more of Snow's time rising to power and what he did to become president and learning about what happend with him and tigris. I'm really excited for the movie to come out and i think this is a must-read for hunger games fans.

what happend in the second half? i truly can only remember the beginning and the ending, the rest is completly gone from my memory. As someone who enjoys greek mythology this was a fun read in the beginning, but that changed around the time when they left crete.
