I just dove into my very first carley fortune book, and it did not disappoint! I honestly just loved everything about this one— the vibe of the setting, the characters, EVERYTHING.

this book’s all about love, getting through tough times, and figuring yourself out. even though it has this super warm feels to it, there are actually a lot of heavy moments and some deep emotional stuff with the characters.
the only reason it wasn’t a 5 star was with how charlie handled alice, pushing her away and stuff… i just really wish he would've talked things out better, esp since they're both in their mid-30s, you know? plus, some of their intimate scenes felt like jus ali begging for them to do IT.
but honestly, putting those small things aside, i absolutely adored this book. it’s just a beautiful reminder that life's precious and we really should soak up every moment with the people we love. it totally makes you want to be in charge of your own life and live it exactly how you mean to, with all your heart.

this book started out so strong. while some parts felt a bit over-explained, i really enjoyed being swept along for the ride. the first two stories genuinely got me hooked me immediately. but the second half went a bit downhill, and i was pretty underwhelmed with how everything tied together in the end. despite that, it definitely held my interest and it was a quick, easy, very light mystery/horror read.

this was a fun read! i think strong, witty, and fashion girlies will really connect with stella. this one’s also for the F1 girlies; you'll love the detailed F1 elements and technicalities. you get to live out your WAG fantasies, lol.
but despite how much i enjoyed reading this, it felt a bit too "wattpady". Everything seemed somewhat surface-level, a bit shallow, with not much lingering impact after finishing it. also, the main characters felt underserved, and there were just too many side characters pulling focus. i wish it dive deeper into their dynamic.
