it’s so bad i wanna give it a zero, but that's not possible, so i will give it a 1.
This was such an easy and cute read! Definitely something you can breeze through and that will make you giggle if you need a break from a book with a heavier plot. While the fake dating plot itself was pretty common, it wasn’t really dragging to me, it just felt a little flat.
first off, let me hold everyone's hand. second, let me preface this by saying that young adult romance is generally not my preferred genre.
unlike most of the readers, i found or rather boring and unimpressive. there wasn't anything exciting about it. the plot felt basic, lacking, and cliché. i didn't find it particularly engaging and abrupt ending was also a disappointment for me.
initially, I was hooked bc of how it was written, and i anticipated relating to sadie. however, as i dive into the story, i struggled to connect with her as much as I had hoped and jus found her character irritating. while I didn't hate her, i simply expected a different portrayal. the same held true for Julius. it was difficult for me to understand the widespread obsession with his character. I didn't find anything particularly “nakakakilig” or impactful.
overall, the book was just okay. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't anything special. Even mediocre might be an understatement.

“She knew me then, at the beginning of ourselves, and she knew me now, here at the end, when she did not even know herself.”
what a captivating love story. it beautifully blends familiar elements, but at its core, it explores the grief of loving someone who becomes unrecognizable, a living absence. harrow doesn't shy away from the difficult emotions and the potential for such grief to be all consuming. it’s a raw and honest look at love in the face of profound change. will def reco for those seeking a love story with depth and emotional resonance.

This book kinda took me by surprise. I went in with mid expectations bc i’d seen many readers DNF-ing Mile High, so I figured this one might be similar. But boi, was I wrong! I found myself smiling and kicking my feet with every chapter. The story started off great and was immediately fast-paced. The reason I gave it a 4 star is that around the 60% mark, the plot became somewhat repetitive. Also, the back-to-back full chapters of spicy scenes weren't really my cup of tea. BUT, the ending was very satisfying.
With the characters, I absolutely loved how their personalities were portrayed. The book didn't make their traumas the central focus, but rather how they overcame them. The speed at which they resolved misunderstandings and their communication were spot on.
Altho I didn't fully resonate with Indi, I admire her personality and aspire to be more like her… except for her messy roommate habits and constant rearranging of Ryan's apartment. But what i loved most was the emphasis on quiet, attentive love being the loudest form of affection. With the way intimacy developed through Ryan's anticipation of Blue's needs, his attentiveness, patience, and understanding…
Overall, this was an easy and light read that made me giggle and kick my feet. I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series.

"Time is a miracle. It shows you what you had, and sometimes it brings it back to you. Different. Better.”
this book had a strong start. i loved its portrayal of the longing, adulthood, friendships, and the whole ex thing. however, the middle part felt kinda dragging? like the way georgia's feelings and thoughts were depicted with such realism that i, as a reader, deeply felt the weight of her and eli's heartache, suddenly the side characters having the most unrealistic stuff going on? like where were the genuine struggles? it almost felt as if their problems were merely plot devices to conveniently bring eli and georgia together unsupervised.
the overall story didn't particularly impress me, but i am impressed by how it was written. my ratings will be in 2 parts… 3.75 stars for the entire story… and 5 stars for eli and georgia’s realistic REALISTIC portrayal of their whole ex to lovers again thing.
tbh the every of georgia’s dialogue reads like it was written just for me. it's almost like i'm not even fully experiencing their story– not because it's bad at all, but because i keep overlaying my own feelings and experiences onto it. i’m so busy connecting it to myself that i forget to simply imagine and immerse myself in eli and georgia's world. instead, i've just ended up lost in mine... in fact cole was refreshing character to me because he is the only character that makes sense, where i feel like im reading somebody else’s story and not a reflection of my own. as for eli… he is a likable character but he did not make it to the list of like ‘the best mmcs’. this book is more of relatable to me than entertaining? like if i wanted realism i woulda jus read somebody’s journal…
BUT it delivers a redemption arc at like 90% mark? it took them so long for them address their past but but their eventual conversation is something many readers will connect with and find relatable. the ending didn't feel rushed, and i love how it was concluded.
overall, this was one hell of a read. definitely worth picking up, and it stands out as the best and most realistic second chance romance portrayal i’ve ever read.

“isn't it strange how the world works sometimes? it's never a matter of time, but a matter of timing”
a 6 star read!!!! i love this book so much THIS IS PERFECTION. i love every aspect of it. the characters, the plot, the storyline, all of it was exceptionally well-written.
clementine is such a relatable character. her fear of change, her tendency to dwell, her reserved nature, and her emotional independence... she reminds me a lot of myself. iwan on the other hand, is someone you never knew you needed if ure like cLEMONtine. he treated her with such care and gentleness that it had me in bawling my eyes out. the way his love for clementine remained a constant… it stood as a powerful example of their unbreakable connection. and i relate to iwan in the way he love and yearn.
overall, this book feels like a hug. the reviews really weren’t lying with this one. i had to sit my emotions after finishing this book. def a must read.

right from the start, the straightforward story telling grabbed my attention. I got really really invested. it was so direct, making it an absolute page-turner, until the final few chapters…
the book is okay, and the plot is definitely present. but, the way the story concluded wasn't what i had anticipated. while i already knew who killed who 68% in, the unfolding of events felt somewhat underwhelming. it wasn't terrible by any means, but it did lead to me giving it a 3.5 instead of 4. BUT i enjoyed the first 85% percent of the book enough to consider reading the sequel.
