Step-Scandal by K Webster

This felt like every other forbidden step-sibling romance and I enjoyed it so much! This trope is one where if you’ve read one you’ve pretty much read them all. Carter’s Dad marries Layne’s mom and Carter and Layne fall for each other. Layne is dating someone else and Carter hates him. That’s all I’m going to say. It’s a super quick read and I enjoyed it.

Right from the beginning I felt like this was a different writing style than K Webster normally has and I didn’t hate it. It definitely took some getting use to. I went into this book blind and knew absolutely nothing about it and I think you should, too. I can’t say much about this book without giving anything away other than the love in this book is REAL. The lengths people will go to for the one they love just makes me so emotional. Just please go into it with an open mind and know that your brain will be going the whole entire time. The way this book was written made you feel like you were living it right along with them. I grew to love all the “good” characters and even cried at the end. Like how did this book make me feel so much and be absolutely off its rocker beats me. Well done K Webster! You are the queen of making sure I stay open minded. Thank you for this 🫶

We NEED more short stories like this from Nikki. I’ve read all her books and love her writing so much. I knew she would make us fall in love with the characters even if the story is only 45 pages. She definitely delivered!!! I loved the whole storyline and Knox was so freaking cute! Ughhhh I want more!!!!

I really enjoyed this book. She is so wise and has lived so many years. Not many people live past 100 but she did! I loved all the stories about her patients and she even talks about her marriage and all that. Very good information, now all we need to do it apply it to our lives. Easier said than done.

Callum Walker and Penny Jones are seriously the cutest 🥹 Penny is a teacher but she also delivers pizza as a side gig. Callum just bought Bigg Mountain and ordered a pizza after a long day. The weather is complete crap and she gets stuck… that’s all I’m going to say. I’m not sure why the word “grump” is in the title because I didn’t find him grumpy at all. I mean he answers the door “You lost, sweetheart”. Doesn’t sound grumpy to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ This novella is super short but the pacing is great. It checked all my novella boxes which is why it’s an instant 5⭐️I’m super excited to continue on with the series. Dare I say I might have found a new favorite novella author 👀

Who knew you could be this disturbed in the matter of 13 pages. What in the world did I just read?

“With his wrinkled blue head that faded into his beardlike red chin flap, there was something almost attractive about the creature.” 

I don’t buy this one bit. There is nothing sexy about a turkey. 🤢

I did find it hilarious that she was begging for his meat when she doesn’t eat meat 🤣 otherwise this is time I’ll never get back. 

This novella… it was… just no. Absolutely not.

I absolutely love when books have titles for each chapter. I’m not a huge shifter romance person but I like them occasionally.  I really enjoyed this one. Wasn’t very steamy and had a fun storyline to it. The MMC is a bat shifter and is trying to find his mate. He ends up going to a speed dating event. There he is put into rooms and blindfolded in hopes that one of the females is his mate. It had me laughing at certain parts. It was a cute read!

This novella surprised me. I’ve been reading all these weird ones but nothing has quite been like this one. This is by no means a romance it’s just flat out erotica and it was a good time. The icing cum was a nice touch and this book takes biting to a whole other level. I was entertained! Oh and the recipe at the end is definitely being saved 🤣

An Easter bunny man…Who has a multi colored 🍆 that changes size and colors, Yes Please!  🤣🤣 This was such a fun read and the turn it takes halfway through made it eggcellent. It’s weird and I loved it!
