This can be read as a standalone but I think it’s best to read “Rage” first. You’ll get way more out of the story that way.

In the beginning this book had a freaking choke hold on my heart. Savannah went through something so fucking awful and is now alone trying to survive but she isn’t even sure she wants to. Declan is… well he’s everything you want in a psycho. He would literally kill for her and trust me he does. The way he protects her (even if it’s unhinged) was so freaking sweet. I know… I’ll find a therapist after I get done writing this review. I wish the first 39% lasted a little longer with the stalking and they didn’t get together so fast. We needed more stalking & stabby stabby and less use of pet names. It was so fun to see Rage and Jace in this one. It’s cute that Jace and Declan think they call the shots when we all know Rage & Chaos run the show! These girls are so badass!
I loved the storyline but the book seemed very repetitive towards the end. They kill, they fuck, they kill, they fuck. Rage & Jace are still my favorite couple. If you’re in the mood for a smut filled stabby novella then definitely pick this one up. Oh and I also learned that I REALLY hate the pet name “little one” 😒

Step-dad/step-daughter is one of my favorites to read. When the tropes for this novella were posted I got so happy! This one is a little different because they just met at the start of this novella. Sophie’s mom reminded me so much of my mom. My mom would get married too and tell me after the fact, more than once. It’s a short novella so there is insta-lust, which I don’t mind. I’ve learned it’s either insta-love or insta-lust when the spicy novellas are this short. The freaking slushie scene was hot af! I just loved how playful Sophie was with Wyatt. “Daddy” hits different when it’s a stepdad/step daughter romance 🥵 I’m telling you the steam is steaming in this little novella. Wyatt is so attentive and would literally do anything for Sophie. Yes, there is cheating and honestly I didn’t care. Wyatt can do no wrong and I’ll die on this hill 😜 I absolutely loved this novella so much!!!

I love me a good grumpy/sunshine romance. When I came across this book and it had “Grumpy” in the title I thought it would be perfect. How is this man a grump? If anything the FMC is the grump. Okay, let me be honest she’s a real b***h in the beginning of the book so of course he’s going to be a little grouchy around her. I wouldn’t call him a grump though. As I got more into the book I started to really love their dynamic. I’m always a sucker for a single dad, even though he’s only been one for 6 months, I thought he took to the role very well. I also love a good neighbor romance and this has that as well. Paisley’s dad is very critical of the career she has chosen. I absolutely love the way Gannon supports her in all things especially her career and the way she chooses to live her life. The way Gannon stood up for her at one point in the book really sealed the deal that he is perfection. Once they made it official he made it clear that it was forever 🥹 This book was funny, had me feeling emotional in the epilogue and the steam was pretty good. If you’re in the mood for a spicy romcom pick this one up!

Right off the bat I knew I was going to like this one more than the first. There is actual depth to this story and someone new gets added. That’s all I’ll say about the plot, you gotta experience it yourself. I didn’t even read the synopsis 🤣 these novellas are so goofy and super cringy at times but I like them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Give me a straight forward man who knows what he wants any freaking day 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 We met Reeves in A Little Complicated and I loved the guy. He’s such a goof but he does  know exactly what he wants and that just so happens to be Dylan Thorne. Dylan was in the first book a little bit but we really didn’t get to see her personality all that much. She’s so quirky and awkwardly shy. I loved her innocents so much. Just like the first book it does read a little young and honestly I loved that about it. Maybe it’s the mood I’m in but it’s just super easy to read. The length of this one is a little too long IMO and could have been significantly shorter. I thought the whole “Cindefella” thing was fun. The jealousy that Reeves had with one of the guys was entertaining. I love the way Dylan fought for Reeves. Reeves had a rough childhood and it sounded like nobody had ever been in his corner until Dylan. Reeves father is complete trash and holds a grudge against Reeves for something that he had zero control over. That whole backstory is heartbreaking and it made me want to reach through my kindle and hug Reeves. Honestly Reeves and Dylan are perfect together and I loved their story so much. A Little Jaded comes out July 31, 2024 and I’m super excited for this one.

Ophelia (Lia) is canceled on last minute by her “boyfriend” so she needs a prom date. Her best friend, Archer and his twin brother are coming back into town so Archer ends up taking her. Archer realizes he has more than friend feelings for Lia and asks her out. Little does he know his twin brother Maverick and Lia may of had something going on at one time. This story is long but it’s super easy to read with no filler bs and I was sucked in from the beginning. Archer is a sweetheart and Maverick is more the rough around the edges asshole. I of course knew there was more to Maverick from the beginning so deep down I was rooting for him. When I started this book I told my husband what was happening as I was reading it. We do this thing where we guess the outcome and he guessed it spot on. My brain NEVER went where his did. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I still got so emotional. The chokehold this book had on my heart for the last 1/2 of the book was absolutely wild! Love triangles always pull at my heart but this one was way more gripping being that they are brothers. I loved the characters in this one so much that I’m getting the next one right now. I don’t think I’m ready to leave this world just yet.

This quick Halloween novella kept me super interested until the very end. That ending?? Wtf! I want more 😭 I was waiting for the brother 😉 This was a fun, steamy read! If you love mask play and dub-con then this is the novella for you. Keep in mind there is no HEA.

I can’t wait for her full length memoir. This book is full of transcripts from phone conversations between her and Melissa. Pretty much interview questions were asked and Gypsy answered them. If you’ve read up on the case and watched the series you probably have heard about most of the things mentioned. It was still an interesting read.

Good girl? No. Good Boy? Nope. Good Door? Yes, that’s much better 🤣 I was really hoping I would love this one but it was kind of boring 🙈 I thought “the door” could have been more exciting. I mean think of all the things he sees on a daily basis. The storyline is super interesting and I did enjoy parts of it. I want to know who in their right mind would screw a doorknob 🤣 I just… hmmm… I… yeah.

Well damn… I wasn’t expecting this much sadness in the beginning of the book. I had read the synopsis when it was released but I of course forgot what it was about. Bishop & Willow won over my heart in Midnight Renegade so I knew I would enjoy this one. It had been awhile since I read the novella so my memory of it was a little foggy. Luckily Hayden has our backs and put a refresher in the beginning. I still highly suggest reading “Midnight Renegade” but it isn’t necessary with her little summary of what had happened in the beginning of this one. Bishop & Willow are perfect for each other but it takes them awhile to fully see it. The angst was so so good and the steam 🥵 was piping hot!!! Both MCs are going through so much grief and are there for each other in certain ways and they think they won’t catch feelings 🤣 so you can only imagine the push and pull that this book brings. I thought it was very well written and although it did feel long, I really loved the pacing of it. I haven’t read a lot of baseball romances but when I’m in the mood for one I always think of Hayden Locke and her series “The Draft” and how I need more of the Renegades!!!
