So I have come to the conclusion that the real first time I picked up this book I basically read the whole thing cuz I think only the very last few chapters were ones I hadn’t read before. So technically I have just re-read this book.

The book was fine. Honestly it feels like there wasn’t much happening. Like the fist book was just meant to introduce us to all the characters and give background information.

However I LOVED the tension between Juliette and Warner.
Honestly even if I didn’t know some shit before I started reading this book I would have loved the interactions between them. I am just so scarred from the red queen that I never trust the first love interest if I know there are multiple options. and Adam seems to be no different from what I’ve heard.

As soon as they left the compound (do u call it that???) and Warner I was BORED. Like those chapters were insanely boring up until Warner came into the picture again.

I am foreshadowing that Adam will betray her in some really fucked up way. Also just the fact that he likes her because she was so kind and let everyone walk all over her is the biggest red flag. Meanwhile Warner likes her with all her problems AND wants her to be an unapologetic badass bitch.

Brooding and possessive, the two traits we love for a love interest and Alex checks both boxes.

He is dark because of trauma, she is the sunshine because of her trauma. It’s a great match.

The spice in this book was great it’s not overbearing but it’s there and it gave what i wanted it to give.

Oh and she makes him grovel after he fucks up which was great. Alex is the one who is only soft for her. He only wants her!!!

I really liked this book.

It was good. Infuriating but good.

It was a quick read and interesting. A lot of the things were kind of predictable but it was still a good read. It was certainly dramatic and I really feel for Max. I love Max he is just sweet and trying his best.

This book was sooo good!

I ate this book up. Literally feels like this book was so short but it really isn’t.

I LOVE Tory and every moment she has with Darius keeps me in a chokehold.

This book was perfection and I’m genuinely surprised that I haven’t grown bored of the series yet. I am someone who keeps losing interest in book series as they keep going but I love every moment of this book and the book series.

This book was so sweet. Max was so sweet and Lina was amazing.

Lina has a lot of self doubt and isn’t really open to falling for Max and I’ve this scenario a couple times. In this scenario I usually end up getting annoyed with said character but Lina surprised me. The writing of her character and her character development was amazing. Lina wasn’t annoying me and I found that very refreshing. The balance of their problems and the story progressing kept me intrigued without feeling annoyed by their actions, it just made sense for their characters to behave how they did. The book didn’t feel like it was reaching for reactions that didn’t make sense but actually followed the characters.

I’m impressed and it was a great read!

But WOW!

Why is it so descriptive?!??
It had way more spice then I ever thought it would. Like i did a REAL double take when I was listening to this book and sex scene after sex scen showed up! Like I thought maybe, MAYBE one scene but no I was very wrong.

Now mark my words though cuz I said it’s a lot more then what I thought but that does not mean it is the spiciest shit I’ve read, but wow it was way more descriptive then i thought it would be.

It was very lighthearted and I would definitely recommend.

Sooo… this was a book. That I read.

It was fine. It wasn’t bad but it kinda lacked something.

Listen I LOVE the idea of reading about Dean but i feel like his character never really got a lot of depth, but this seems to be a problem in general with Elle Kennedys characters.

I liked both Dean and Allie so this book was really good up until THAT happened. Then I could not stand Allie.

Because FUCK Allie! She is a fucking awful person! I. DON’T. CARE. if she’s hurt that Dean isn’t paying as much attention to her but for FUCK sakes he JUST lost his BEST FRIEND. And here she is judging him for how he is grieving.

She is expecting to much from him. Just because she wouldn’t grieve like him doesn’t give her the right to bash him for how he is doing it. Dean is dealing. He is trying to deal at least and here is her whiny ass feeling upset that he is not getting over his friends death quicker. LIKE WTF I HATE Allie! She SUCKS and is a selfish prick!

WHO THE ACTUAL FUCK BREAKS UP WITH HER BOYFRIEND OVER A PLAY!!! A PLAY!!!! WHEN HE IS GRIEVING HIS BEST FRIENDS DEATH?!????

Also not her thinking she has some moral high ground just because she lost her mom to cancer when she was little?!? THAT IS NOT THE SAME! Most of the time with cancer you kind of know they are going to die so people usually process the death during the time they are alive so it’s expected. But literally he found out his friend died in a car accident. He got no time to process his death before it was there, it was a complete shock for him because honestly who thinks their friend is just gonna die on you when your in college? Also in general it is very messed up of her regardless to compare the way she deals with death to how he deals and then just claim that he needs to move on and grow up because he is not dealing in a way that is comfortable for her when his friend just died like what is wrong with her?!????? No I absolutely hate her!!!

So yeah the book was average.

This book was hilarious! I was constantly giggling, laughing and dying the twins were just icons.

They really start messing with the guys in this book and I loved it! They also give their revenge in the funniest ways. They are QUEENS!

Must admit that I’m more of a fan of Tory then Darcy but that is okay cuz i don’t dislike her.

I am betting my life on that Tory and Darius are mates or something like that. Have thought this since the beginning but need to have written it down for my own sanity. I LOVE guessing the plot line and just have my suspicion about what I think will happen.

Also this was kinda not even a spoiler but…

Anyway LOVE this series and I am invested!!

OMG! Where to start?

I LOVED every part of this book.

The pacing of the book was amazing and it kept me constantly interested in the story.

The TENSION!!!! This is what i want in books, the pull towards each other but hating it. They had so much chemistry and the tension was amazing!

I LOVE Charlie and i LOVE how he loves all of her flaws and finds her, HER attractive for her real personality. How he helps her relax and calm. How he just makes her feel safe and seen. HE IS A GOD. I love him so much, he’s just so precious.

The book is great- amazing, and he is so bitter and she is so bitter and it’s lovely. I’m truly a sucker for sarcastic characters and just like bitterly funny characters and Charlie DELIVERED.

Nora is soo misunderstood and I just love her. She is so caring and wants to give everyone everything. She is such a people pleaser for the ones she loves and she would really go through hell and back for them and I just admire her so much. I also sympathize and empathize so much with her. She is just so amazing that it makes me sick.

10/10 would highly recommend!!!

What was this?!??

Like I had half high hopes for this but not only was it predictable but it was also kinda boring.

Damon FUCKING SUCKS!!!! Like the way he speaks about women in this book makes me wanna hit him hard. He is ridiculously sexist in this book and I’m genuinely wondering how he is going to redeem himself and how people can like him cuz he is the biggest asshole.

Michael is boring at best and and super fucking annoying. That along side with Rika how has zero personality except that she likes him and wants his attention so she plays “games” to try and win and be better. She literally has no spine and lets him walk over her all the time and especially sexually like girl if your mad at him why the fuck are you letting him fuck you. ITS WEIRD!!!

Kai honestly was the most interesting character and he wasn’t even the main. Like how is that even possible. I will however read Kai book cuz I’m intrigued about how is book will be written but my hope for it to be good is kinda low ngl.

So this was… interesting.

I don’t even know what to say honestly. I mean it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t very good either. I feel like nothing happened yet A LOT happened.

I like Misha and Ryens relationship it was very fun to watch how their dynamic changed throughout the book. Misha was 100% my favorite character like he was just great in every way. He was sooo smug and sarcastic and i loved that.

so my feeling are a little bit mixed when it comes to this book.
