My first book by Jillian and I loved this one from the first page. Small town romances are the best and then add a single parent…those are my weak spots. Other tropes includes friends to lovers, age gap to really hammer it home a great well-rounded contemporary romance story.
With the sweetness overload and two people learning to trust each other from past trauma on top of MC Reid dealing with demons created so many layers that was exciting and a compliment to Reid and Busy’s slow burn love.
The cutest four legged friend and little bundle of cuteness added so much tenderness it was hard to not love. Busy’s daughter Junie plus her adoration for Reid’s dog Sydney was insanely pure and created a dynamic that only enhanced falling in love with Reid and Busy!
Thank You Pen Pal Marketing for this ARC! I love being introduced to new authors I can’t wait to read more of❤️

So, Truth or Tequila is a cute, fast paced book. It’s the first book in a companion series. It’s kind of a slow to medium burn with a lot of tension that doesn’t reach its peak until well over the half way point.
I had a hard time relating to the characters and wasn’t really invested into their relationship till it hit their 3rd act break up. I did like the MMC and his cinnamon roll personality. While I didn’t enjoy the miscommunication, I understood why it happened. It did create a piece that was missing from the beginning, and it wasn’t over the top. Was it necessary? I don’t know, but it worked out in the end.
Cute, fun and quick read. The cover and synopsis first caught my eye and is worth the read if you are looking for a nice quick rom-com story.

Alright, I loved this one! And definitely my favorite in the series so far. Anytime you have a kid with cute banter I’m in! Clara, and then add a puppy named Honey…just stop❤️
I am a sucker for single dads and then add a single day plus a nanny storyline….priceless. Even though Clara is definitely the MVP of this book, Dean and Liv were quite amazing themselves too.
The third act drama added just enough suspense that created the right amount of push needed for their love to truly seal the deal. All their sweet moments especially their late night talks on the swing…swoon! Hard not to fall in love with these two.
Favorite Quote: “I love you. Loving you might be the scariest thing I ever do, but I wouldn’t change it. You came into my life and made me realize I was living in the gray. You make every single day brighter, and I want to cherish every day I’m given with you because it’s a gift to love you and be loved by you.”

This book came highly recommended and it definitely is a compelling story! I went into the book blindly, not knowing what it was about. I was drawn in solely by the knowledge that it was a bestseller and Picoult was one of the writers.
I thought the dual timelines and bits of everyone unfolding came together nicely. A lot more informative than I was expecting about transgender and bees but it blended well. Although I feel like pieces of this story dragged on and some of the informative aspects took away from the case at hand. Or maybe it was just how I processed everything and got confused.
I appreciated the twist in the middle and how much I learned from it. I think this was an important book: it was honest, and I can imagine the experiences of Lily could mirror Jennifer’s.
Domestic Fiction isn’t always my favorite but this had a trial embedded so a little whodunnit aspect I do love and appreciate. Definitely one to read if you are a fiction fan.

Alright! Where do I start! I’m not a person who reads a lot of dark romances but something about this eerie Halloween vibe really brought the right kind of wrong for me and it worked heavenly. The spice….wow, it’s intense. The settings and game of cat and mouse with the overlaying stalker vibes…I enjoyed. Normally it’s not for me but it worked and I liked it.
Very excited for more to come in this series. I love that romantic suspense and eerie vibe the first book gave and this took it a step further in a fun dark and twisted kind of way!
Bring on book two…. I’m so excited!
Thank you Jenn for sending me an advanced copy, I think you changed my mind about dark romances❤️

Set in a magical Christmas themed family rivalry where Dane and Amanda try to make the long standing family feud with a joint agreement for a fake engagement story.
A very sweet and hilarious story with fun family dynamics and literally the most perfect set-up for a hallmark Christmas Classic if you ask me! This is book is a great reset refresher if you are looking for something light, fun and holiday themed.
Since I did this as an audio, Connor, the male narrator gets me every time with his delicious depiction and really brings all these handsome MCs to life. With his voice, the grandma antics and lazy dog Chili’s shenanigans, this was a great rom-com!!!

Bowen is a witch who is one of the MCs in the book and Tandy’s is a human. The book is centered Bowen and Tamsyn working together to get back to the present, and facing off with the origins of Tywyll House’s haunting, the suspicions of their fellow witches…oh, and the fact that somewhere between the mistletoe and the bonfire, they might be falling in love.
I had a hard time connecting with all the characters and felt they were undeveloped. I wanted to feel more of the chemistry but for more than half the book it didn’t happen until finally it did and then it was over. So the love story didn’t hold true to a typical slow burn in my opinion.
They did provide a nice banter consistency and a lot of funny lovable moments but the overall feel just felt a little short for me unfortunately. Still a really cute and magical read for those who loved the first two

The book starts with the absolute best meet-cute moment with a Bear. Such a strong and entertaining beginning to really reel you in right from the start.
With such a fun and exciting start, it got a tad slow towards the middle. I also felt somehow more invested in the other relationships than I did between the mc’s and still rooted for them but didn’t feel connected to them as I normally did.
West, a devoted father, attractively hot, obsessed with his girl and smart with a bit of snarkiness in the best ways. Skylar struck me as a bit immature, especially in the beginning but she did grow bit by bit toward the ending. I absolutely love and adored Emmy and Oliver! I think the kids in most books steal the limelight.
I love their playful banter and can’t wait to read about Tabby and Rhys! I feel like book three is going to be my favorite!!

This is definitely my most favorite in the series! I’m not sure I could love the way accidentally pregnancy worked in this book more. How they met, the banter and text exchanges were perfection.
The support and love they had for each other, going the distance and finding ways to stay engaged long distance, the support of their families just went to show how they truly were just right for each other
My favorite part was their meet-cute airplane moment and how off the rails Mabel went with her panicked word vomit outburst. Priceless and fun for a wild ride! Joe and Mable were opposites in all the right ways that made their chemistry authentic and lovable.
These two definitely were my favorite couple in this series and their love story was the perfect ending the final chapter.
