This is what I wanted Bunny to be. Unhinged, insane, and a main character that actually has a personality (albeit unlikable one).
I loved the story, and seeing the inner workings of influencers life. Julie's hustle is kinda admirable lol. The pacing was great, and the moment they arrived at the island things started building up to an insane ending!
It's a solid debut and I can't wait to read what the author writes next!!

And my journey for a good thriller continues.
It was a fast and easy read, but a very predictable plot and gets boring in the middle. It was just okay.

why, at least it was short.
The main characters have zero chemistry, and no depth. Their whole relationship built on a one night stand that was five years ago and was mid at best, the pining and yearning didn't make sense and didn't last long lmao.
The story was all tell and barely any showing. We are told that they're in love, We are told they're in a relationship. Too many time jumps. The writing was emotionless, and flat.
I was hoping it was gonna be fun, but it unfortunately wasn't.

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ENDING.
This book was so necessary for Bree's development and I'm so glad Tracy wrote it. It may feel like a filler since it's more character driven, but I enjoyed it very much. Tracy Deonn packed a punch with that ending! I'm loving where this series is going and can't wait to read the next book.

This was fun.
Even though the story is so predictable, I liked it. I enjoyed the chemistry between the MCs, but I didn't like the fact that the MMC knew who the FMC is and she didn't know.
I liked Lily's family dynamic. It was cute, and her relationship with her sister is wholesome.
It was a nice palate cleanser.

I'll give it to this book, it got me out of a reading slump, but at what cost???
At first I was really liking this, and was interested in seeing where it was going (spoiler alert! it went nowhere). There's so much descriptions of meaningless things and not enough description of the setting. The characters were flat, and most of the scenes were so awkward and cringe.
I don't understand how Alice, and Flix are together??? Flix just keeps humiliating her, and she's just mild about it. Eileen, and Simon's relationship being fixed when they finally decide to communicate, they could've done that from chapter one and saved us from boredom.
The Emails between Eileen and Alice didn't make sense in the context of the story, and they honestly came across as pompous, like who talks to their best friend like that, and don't even get me started about their friendship.
The whole book felt cold and monotone, and I can't imagine reading this without quotation marks. I don't know if I want to read Normal People after this.
