Thank you to NetGalley and publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this story.

I absolutely ate this story up. Maybe I have been reading too many romance novels but this was so cute.

Jane is a childhood tv star who is now a creative director trying to get her first movie green lighted. Dan is a moody cinematographer who is going to be working with the script as well. Little to the readers knowledge is that they have HISTORY.

Everyone in this book was amazing. I loved Clem and Dans entire family. This book is full of love and fun.

I have no bad thoughts I loved it and I’m a sucker for a good romance.

Thank you to NetGalley and publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this story.

Overall it was and was not how I expected. It was fun hallmark-y story but with a supernatural twist. The characters were fun and it really felt like we were hopping into someone’s ongoing story not just starting it. The characters were introduced in a way that first made me think “is this a sequel?” But as I was reading it felt so organic and that I was re-meeting people just like Harry.

My one qualm is that the cover completely gives Grace’s shifter away. From the moment they said they didn’t know I knew.

I hope this becomes a fun little series that I can read during the spookier months.

Thank you to Cait Jacobs, publishers and NetGalley for giving me the oppurtunity to read this ARC.

I had so much fun reading this novel. Legally Blonde mixed with medieval knights and princesses and some aspects of magic in there as well.

Clia is the crown princess of Alainndore and after being rejected by a man she goes to Caislean Costa to become a knight and win him back (what, like it’s hard?) Throughout her journey she meets and trains with Ronan where he trains her and fall in love.  The side characters are all so different and bring such a found family feeling throughout the book. And MURPHY is the cutest little killer you will ever meet.

The plot mirrors some aspects of Legally Blonde but has a uniqueness that Cait Jacob’s writes so well. The plot twists and turns and you will be kicking your feet, bawling your eyes and screaming all at the same time.

When I say read it… JUST READ IT. You will not be disappointed.

As an adult reading this I can’t stand this read. I would have loved it as a child.

As a teacher… I feared every fake word in this read. Would those 12 year old boys find this funny? Would I have to hear them say this word because they find it inappropriate? My fear was worth getting rid of some stars.
