I love Gunnar and Mayfair!!!

Gunnar and Mayfair.

These two show what it means to love someone through the peaks and the lows and the lengths you would go to protect the person who is your other half. The love in this story speaks volumes!

It’s soo good to come back to the OG storm guys, it’s like coming home after a long day.

Laura, you did it again!

War and Miriam, a match made in heaven.

There is so much I could write about how much I love this story, this world Laura has created for her readers but I do believe it would make this a very long review and if you are like me, you’ll just skim through it. So, I’ll keep it short and simple.

I loved this book and It was beautifully written. I think War and Miriam balance each other out, with her soft heart and his hardened heart.

I would definitely recommend this book to others.

Did I love it as much as Pestilence? No, he’s my man horseman so far.

So, bring on Famine!

OH. MY. GOD!

Move over Pestilence, Famine is my new favourite!

Famine’s story killed me! Dead!

This is slow burn romance filled with lots of banter, kindness, death and hunger.

Famine has experienced the worst of humanity, he’s been tortured, maimed, dismembered and killed more times then he would like to remember. He has suffered at the hands of men since his arrival and no one has shown him a hint of kindness, no one but his little flower.

She saved him.

Ana has had her own bad experiences with humanity. She’s been whipped, beaten, raped and forced into prostitution at a young age. She has suffered at the hands of family, friends and clients and yet she still shows kindness to all, even a horseman.

The journey these two characters go on really pulled on my heartstrings.

I loved this story, I got completely lost in their world.

AND, that little guest appearance from Death!!!

I want mooorrreeeee, I need more.

I’m so excited for Death’s book, I have a feeling I’ll need a drink after it though.

If you’re looking for a slow burn then this is the book for you!

WARNING: This book is a serious slow burn and I do mean a SLOW burn. I feel as though that warning label is needed for this book.

I was initially going to give this book a pass because it’s so different from what I normally read but then I thought, what’s the harm in giving it a try and I’m glad I did.

Jax is a moody rock legend that wants to give it all up. Hayley is the nerdy, quiet girl who needs a job to pay for tuition. You have got to read the book to find out more. :)

I have fallen in love with Jax and Hayley’s story and it’s just the beginning.
