this was a fun read, just that the final reveal wasn't satisfying but i like how it kind of came full circle ( if you've read it, you know)

ok ok i almost dnfed this thinking it'd be nothing great but so glad i stuck around till the end

cons

- some of the writing was uhh not the best, literally laugh myself out loud when the word ravish is used
- none of the twists were super shocking
- the ending was a little too happy for my taste

pros
- despite me predicting the twists, they were some good ass twists that came together really nicely
- characters i initially despised, i ended up rooting for in the second half
- it was an addicting read that only got better in the second half

overall this book has your typical thriller beats but executes them well

Bestie i'm so conflicted about this book...

First of all I like my soapy romances but this was TOO soapy and melodramatic - felt like i was watching one of my Mom's favourite Bengali serials

cons

- the abrupt ending, like jenny han count your days
- i wanted more conrad and belly, instead the entire book was just belly and jerimiah being the worst couple
- you know what i have a million complaints but i'm too tired

pros

- conrad
- conrad and belly's few moments
- susannah's letter
- belly's mom being the best

overall i'm kind of let down by this book, it didn't make my feel as warm as the others - the series was very rushly ended, hopefully the tv show will be better
