There are so many questionable things in this book. The story was wonderful though and very tense, once the story started to pick up it was hard to put down. The racism in the book and the weird sexual instances were so random though. While the racism could be explained as another way that the hotel was evil, it feels unnecessary.

The beginning of the book was interesting and felt fast-paced, but I started to lose interest halfway through the book. It is most likely due to personal preferences, but at a certain point in the book everything felt very repetitive and the ending felt rushed. Also, the weird incestuous relationship between Hannibal and Lady Murasaki just made it hard to get through certain parts of the book.

Book was good and managed to keep me interested the whole time but the ending was weird. While the relationship between Clarice and Dr. Lecter was being built up throughout the story the ending just ruined her entire character.

The book was so good! The plot was so interesting and compared to the movie, the book is very similar. I feel like in the book there is more information about the characters and it makes it easy to get sucked in.

The book was so good!! I was not expecting the twist at the end at all. The only thing that threw me off was how quickly the characters were introduced since there were so many.
